Alright, I was a bit worried you'd have to sit there keeping the ship centered the entire trip. In a game where it can take 10-15 minutes to cross the system with lower end drives, that was going to be a game changer for me, and not in a good way.

I kind of like the “calibration” where you have to keep it in line but I’m glad it’s only for the first portion of the jump

Wasn't sold on it until i saw the bubble lock.
honestly looking forward to this but if I had to do the bubble struggle the whole way for upwards of 10 minutes (on slower ships) I would be quite the unhappy camper.

No, it's just for the acceleration. Once you are at quantum speed, you don't need to.

I will love it if the presence of a mantis makes it extremely hard to stay in tunnel, and happens without warning, so there is a chance you can stay in bubble if you are paying attention and skilled

Yes, altough it wil be slower than locked quantum travel its the quantum boosting they are talking about

Nice effects and the boosting is a step in right direction to have more freedom but why would not have similar high speed method like in elite dangerous super cruise where you can fly around outside atmoshphere in high speed around planets? That is what you need in SC. You also need atmosphere entering effects like fire around your ship and even entering technology like angels and degrees for entering with high speeds.

Honestly I preferred the tunnel of the other one. It was far more beautiful and relaxing. Although the beginning and ends of this one is cooler.

Really? I think it's awesome, it adds some much needed gameplay and interactions with QT that we didn't have before and it does make traveling around the system much more immersive. Plus, an updated QT animation was overdue and this one is just so cool.

@@SauloMogi pretty sure he means that the entering and exiting QT effect should be stronger, and I agree, although QT drives are over 800 years old in lore so it makes sense they're so smooth nowadays. Though the bubble does look way cooler as it is rn in the PU, I hope they make it more stylized before SQ42 releases
