I was pretty down on cig for the last couple of years. the last tech preview showed me that the game just needs more server power to run well. what we want is actually possible but it is going to require a lot of resources

If they even have stable one thousand players, they imho will have to slow down expansions of that number so content is sufficient - it's one thing to have the player count it's another to keep them happy. Furthermore without org tools in game that's a lot of disjointed players

Bigger player counts are sure necessary to go along with their plans to have (dozens??) of different planetary systems. So I'd say we are all glad CiG is already working on it!

2000? well what do ya know? now if they stop nerfing ships like the corsair and get a flight model that is actually fun and takes skill it might be worth playing lol. pretty sure FM is flight model...

Unfortunately with MM and some of the inventory changes i dont see this bringing back those players that walked away.

i still think the cutter is one of the best starting ships, it will stay relevant due to the longer range imo

Large shields, decent livability, and a cargo grid along with enough guns to to at least take out cutties - All I really want/need in an explorer. And hopefully not something designed like the Corsair. Corsair is a nice design, but I like symmetry more.
