Now I’m set up with MTRXst and OMNI. Amazing! Now to ad an S6. BTW, if using the 7,1 MacPro, you’ll need a 1gig ethernet to usb-c adaptor - you cannot yet use the mac’s onboard 10g ethernet port.
the MTRX can’t connect to the 10 GbE port???
@@basehead617 I haven’t checked lately, in case they updated things to accommodate, but it needs 1G not 10. Until I got the adaptor, it wouldn’t work. Still working flawlessly in a University lab (tons of daily use by multiple users).
how do you go about connecting the mtrx studio and the omni?
Just installed $20k of MTRX converters and it comes with proprietary software that looks like it runs on MS DOS. You guys are criminals.

Just installed the MTRX Studio in a client's studio and noticed the monitor meter on the front panel of the MTRX Studio is post-fader from the rotary knob and fader that controls the control room level in DADman. Any way to make the meter on the front of the MTRX Studio pre-fader? Haven't found anything in the manual.
Benjamin Fox I think you need to set the Meters section in the Monitor Profile. Not sure if it works for all input meters though...
Very flexible. Can this be used without the Digilink to another Avid box? Or do you have to pair it with at least an HD Native card or TB box?
You would need an hdx card for this & PT Ultimate SW. Alternatively you could look into DAD ( digital audio Denmark ) for a Dante, or Ethernet connection to interface w/ computer.
