I like that little model 25, never shot one but it looks like a lot of fun. After seeing the 'adult' Daisy Buck, I made a larger stock and forearm for my Buck, which works perfect with my diy pellet trap for indoor plinking on bad weather days. Thank you.
*Quick laidback can plinking sure is Daisy Outdoor's motto!* _If those were cheaper here id most likely have one already... but I do enjoy my gravity fed RR._ Nice laidback plinking video!
One quirk with this bb shooter is every time you screw the shot tube back in you have to dump the bb out of the barrel or it will double load bbs the first time you shoot.
got one when the NRA sent an email for 20$ off at pyramyd Air a few years back. I wasnt even a member but still used it haha. i bought the model 25 for 30$ and its a fun little thing to have. very unique air rifle but the paint leaves one wanting. would be better off blued.
In late 80's to early 90's, we had what looks like a crosman 2100 (just based on memory and current lineup of crosman models on their website....definitely not a 760 and it looked identical pretty much to the 2100 as far as i can rememer) . I could easily shoot bottle caps (1x1") with it from 12 to 14 yards away with BB's....yes bb's--not pellets! I remember it actually shot better and more consistenly with bbs than the pellets we had (crosman pointed if memory serves me right). Unfortunately now, we need to get a license to get the 2100 model in my part of the world that I dont wanna bother with. I prefer to just shoot with bbs also coz it's just plain cheaper. My question is, can this Daisy Model 25 match that kind of performance with bbs (i.e. hit bottle-cap sized targets from 14 yards away about 90-95% of the time) ? I'm just considering one for rats and other pests for the yard which is about 16 yards at its longest dimension but most of my shots would be more around 12 to 14 yards away.
I need to find a tear down and rebuild video… inherited one from my uncle that I’d hate to get rid of but it’s in poor shape and doesn’t shoot well right now! Got a Red Ryder too but it literally can barely push a BB out of the barrel!
That's a fun one for sure.
I might be wrong but it sounded like you hit it to me. I didn’t think you missed. Enjoyed it buddy
Good morning Travis hope you're having a great day brother keep up the excellent work

@@gmanneod8085 good morning G man looks like we're all active this morning
going to look into getting one of those , sure seems like fun and besides I have a ton of BB's and no BB gun have a good one, take care.

Nice laidback plinking video!
The 25 is on my list. Great video, Travis.
That is a fun looking BB gun 🙂👍.

@@gmanneod8085 good morning G man I've got an excellent one you're going to like this week
Love these things! I have a Red Ryder but I keep looking at the 25 sitting in my gun shop cart just waiting for me to land in a weak moment...
There’s a beeman chief in mine. But unfortunately I can’t find rebuild parts online. I may copycat you and grab a diana .177.
I finally caved. Zero regrets. This thing is fun as hell.
Wow! Never seen one before!
That’s a good ole BB gun to go plinking with,
I have one coming soon.
The action makes me think of the Colt 1895 "potato digger" machine gun. It tickles me just watching it.

I agree. But at the same time I think it will look cool once it ages.

I think you’d be better off going with a daisy 880.

Restomod Daisy or Walnut and Steel probably have one.
I’ve got 2 of them and the wife and I plink tin cans in the summertime it’s cheap fun and also they are not really that accurate to me
Mine shoots better than my red Ryder and buck.
Hunting rabbit
That's a fun one for sure.
