Definitely need sponsorship from a company with vacuum water recovery, would really help in these jobs with bad drainage. Especially if you can get a machine that does gutter vacuuming too. Love the drone shots, especially Elias threatening to soak it.
I do have one already, it'll just hoover up the stones too though, it was a tricky job this, i really hate stone chip edges ):
Perhaps a pantyhose covering the suction pipe might help you to not suck up the stones. That’s what I do at home, but not sure if it will work with such muddy water
@PartyBasz that's what I was thinking. Perhaps a fine wire screen, like what's used on screen doors, would do the trick. The mud should go through, but not the rocks.

For more sensitive areas you might consider using a hand pump garden sprayer for the biocide so you can still apply it but have more control over where it goes.
Sid, really proud of you for the time you took to demonstrate and explain what the expectations are to Elias. I just remember many decades ago at my first job and I had a boss that had very high standards. She took a few minutes of time each shift to explain what she wanted done and how to do it. Good model for life. And that job is stunning! You guys just doubled the value of the home. I would love to live in a gorgeous spot like that. And you brought back the beauty of all the different textures without completely removing all the aging, which adds a little character.

What a wonderful change with the front paving cleaning. In the back, I recall you said you wanted to steam near the fish pond, to prevent any risk. The steam does seem to be overall doing well. Good explanations about working with the India Sandstone. The overhead drone is showing what a gorgeous renewal was coming about. I sympathize with the drainage stones getting dirty. A dam would have potentially helped, but we don't always think of solutions at the right times. Nice the unusual bench could be improved. Congratulations to all participants.

If I didn't have bad legs this would be the job I'd want to do for the rest of my life. I love any work in which you see the end results to be "completely" different, like cleaning windows and mowing grass. Of course, both jobs become quite dull if you have to 'clean' already clean windows or mow grass which is like a couple of millimeters "too tall", but usually half the time you get to do it when the windows are super dirty or the grass is very tall. Painting/coating is kinda similar, but it's a bit too tedious as it usually includes so much sanding and you literally have to do perfect job on the first try for the whole job, otherwise you'll have to start all over again with the same preparations.. Where as you can't really mess up cutting grass. I don't know is your job always as rewarding as in these videos, but damn at least in them it's just perfect.
Haha great comment! This job is great, it's extremely taxing, im not the type to complain.. although it may not seem like it sometimes but i must be honest roof cleaning is really brutal work sometimes, especially in the heat, its very slow but very satisfying. If i could just clean the surface then walk away i'd have the best job in the world but truthfully the cleanup is where it gets hard, you've already got the gratification of cleaning the surface and mentally you feel like it's done but then you have sometimes 4 - 5 hours of cleaning up and packing away to do and it can be soul destroying. I do love it though, i really don't take for granted the roofs with little moss on it.
The ground surface cleaning is generally super easy, this one was difficult due to the drainage but i'd say 7/10 jobs are just a breeze, really easy work.

Those rooftiles were a crazy revelation for me when I started watching your videos, as I've seen mostly darker color roof tiles in tv shows and when visiting England. Never could of imagined it's not always the natural color but actually just dirt. I'm from Finland and we mostly have metal roofs here so I had no idea.

Well after watching the first video I think you need to learn how to fill a petrol tank up with out spilling it on your private parts, also do you let your engine cool down before you put the petrol in. As I’ve heard of a chap who filled his petrol tank up and spilt some on the exhaust and all the tank went up in flames and burnt all his face and arms.

I think if you work for someone who films the work, you're aware thats potentially going on film. It's good to see I think, no one starts work knowing exactly where the boundaries lie, how much can you be daft, how much serious, when is it ok to take a break, when to pull the stops out, etc, its a learning curve and if no one tells you?!
There’s a time and place to talk to your employees about what you expect from them, and shaming them on video isn’t that place.

3:00 You'll never hear me say boo about how you run your business, Sid. The fella was hired to do a job and he should do his job to the best of his ability no matter his age. If he's getting above average wage then he should put out above average effort. Of course, you can't expect anyone to work as hard as you do because you're not only the boss, but the owner--you have a large investment and interest in your business. Being in that position is tough and not many can do it correctly. Making the right choices in hiring and then in firing is hugely difficult but before the end, you, as owner and Boss, have to ask yourself if you've done everything you possibly can to help the employee do the job the way you need and want it done. Always be true to yourself and never feel you have to give in to someone's opinion on the internet.
