Boris Karloff was a genius, I wish there was producers and actors like him today , this is the best most entertaining show also Twighlight Zone Outer Limits .

1970 ... Excellent! Most excellent. It does look comfy and cozy, doesn't it. 1970 was the year mom graduated university with a teaching degree. And I started the first grade. The good ol days.
I keep watching these bc they are so GOOD. Karloff is such an anchor in any scene ... all eyes are on him. He just had that kind of presence. Loved the ending and without spoiling anything it does give even the most scientific person food for thought. Thanks Pizza :o)
How many remember the days when the doctor would make house calls with a bag smaller than the TV repairman's and fix us on the spot? Nowadays you have have to re-finance the house just to walk in the hospital door!
@@mikegagne3263 ...I did too. But the penicillin eliminated my 105 fever when I had Scarlet Fever ..and saved my life. They had prepared a cold water bath (tub) but that would have only cooled me for an hour or two.
Karloff was one of those actors among many other good actors , he was truly a star. Type cast into horror films he excelled , no greater respect could be payed him then Bobby Pickett Imitating Boris Karloff voice to make a hit song call The Monster Mash.

Thankyou for sharing this series - It deserved air time . It's unfortunate that General Practice Doctors thses days, aren't like this one - most have taken after the son's character . I can recall 2 who were like that, in practice - well liked by clients, enough that it took him 3 attempts to retire - his practice had at least one family, of 4 generations, who travelled from out of area to attend appointments with this GP.

I don't quite know why, but that room Karloff is sitting in looks extremely comfortable.
I felt that relaxed cozy feeling too, not only the fire but the huge chair make a good reading place, love that room.
