  • We went on the 2-night P&O Mini Cruise to Amsterdam from Hull In March 2019. Here's what it's about - including practical things such as parking at the terminal, what the cabin was like, the ship's facilities and entertainment, transfers, and some ideas when visiting Amsterdam.
I've made more cruise videos and written lots of cruise articles at HowToCruise.co.uk

of course you don't have to listen to the entertainment in the SkyBar. You just go down the little stairs onto the deck - some of it is covered, some of it open - all with tables and chairs. That's where I spend most of my time, wrapped up cozy by myself, with a glass of something, looking out to the magnificent North Sea contemplative and in peace with my thoughts. That's the best bit of the experience for me! Then back to cabin for a hot shower and snooze in clean sheets ready for a day in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Why do I feel you missed something intrinsic?

Can you leave your stuff in the cabin for the return journey back to Hull?

I have just contacted P&O and if you're allocated the same room both ways then you can leave them in the room. If you don't they have lockers onboard for your things. Hope this helps 🙂

Did you not need to pay for three days parking, or did it cover the 48 hours?
