Bike boots and shorts! You can take the man out of Rochdale but, you can't take Rochdale out of the man! Lol. I'm looking forward to the next instalment 👍😀🍻.
Great content, this is something I would like to do instead of usual Dover to Calais. least I know what to expect cabin wise and price. looking forward to further episodes.
Interesting seeing the P&O ferry, I have a return trip booked on the Stena Line from Harwich to Hook of Holland (basically Rotterdam). Cost £292 for single rider , bike and an outside cabin. Like a window to the outside so I can check the weather without having to go on deck. Came back from Europe on this ferry last year and the cabin was definitely bigger. Not bothering with food as I will get some once in Holland, get on board later as well so will eat in Harwich before sailing.
Yes mate the cabins are really small. I like the hull ferry there is never no hassle and easy to get to and its closest to use living in chesterfield. Enjoy mate remember dive on the right lol 👍👍
Hi, a very informative video! I was just wondering what else they ask at the check-in. Is it just passport and tickets? Did they not ask you to provide for example car/bike insurance documents?
Passport and Tickets, although you are required to carry your health insurance, insurance certificate, breakdown cover and MOT too, if your stopped by the police or you breakdown you will get asked for these. I carry all mine in a waterproof pouch along with the operators licence for the drone and a few other things. Better to have it all to hand 👍
Our ferry sailed at 8.30pm but we had to be on board from 7pm.... boarding started at 5pm though. So you basically can get on 3.5 hours before you sail. Times change daily, we chose that time as arriving in Holland at the start of the day suited us.
@@BIGV710 oh its a bargain then 🤣 to be fair everything is more expensive on a HGV insurance, Tax, amount of fuel. But you get to carry goods worth the trip 😉
@@MotoTripTV yess i work for myself and only do bonded goods that pays good money but i do have big fuel tanks 2000litres if i fill up in uk it costs me about £7000 cheaper in europe

Have a great trip boys don't forget bet wetter's go on bottom bunk, and don't be trying those new crash protectors out, keep em upright !
Top tip indeed.
Crashing the bike as far away from home as possible, isn't on my to do list 🤣

Small cabin was funny on first sight, but in truth you only sleep in it, so not a problem really 👍
Cool video thanks did you get any change out of a tenner for a pint 😊😊
Yea i think it was around £5.20 a pint 😏
Would be thought squeeze to park my gold wing on the ferry with somebody parked next to it 😂
Yea, that's always a concern. You need a mate who respects your pride and joy to park at the side of you 😉

Taking my bike on there next week (riding down from north Scotland) - do you know what time you can board from?

Don’t see much anymore of the P&O boycott after they sacked all their staff overnight 😳
Indeed, all seems forgotten now.
