Finally! Someone who can read this without boring me to death! Thank you for injecting feeling into an HPL reading.

It's like being read a bedtime story by a fond maiden aunt (who really loves cats). Pitch-perfect for this tale.

    Good reader even better story.
The pain of lost things drives us to self destructive measures in search of our own Kadath.

My favorite book by my favorite author, this woman does an excellent job of dictating it.

You know, I look for this version (the reader) all the time, and can rarely find it. This was the first audiobook of this book I had Listened to, and lulls me to sleep so beautifully while playing with my dreams in all the best ways during my slumber. Her voice is very enjoyable to lull of to the Dream lands, for an adventure of unknown horrors, treasures and dangerous knowledge mean not for the minds of man.

If there ever was a live action movie based on The Dream-quest for Unknown Kadath, i´d love to have Brian Blessed play Kuranes.

It's So Sad that H.p Lovecraft was such a Beautiful man who ended living an extremely Negative life!

I know what you mean! This was the last Lovecraft audiobook l listened to, and was initially a bit thrown by hearing such a sweet voice after all the heavy brooding tones of earlier readers, but suits the story brilliantly and l quickly came to love her voice. Am currently listening to the audiobook of Clash Of The Titans (blame lockdown) and was delighted to discover it was being read by the same person. Her name is Amy Mullin and she works on a site called ‘audiobooks for the damned’ which reads out movie novelisations. I seriously can’t wait to hear her read the book of John Carpenter’s ‘Dark Star’ :)

Good to know the science part of lovercraft isn’t the strongest but I guess they didn’t really understand supernova back then and he wasn’t well educated.

Explanations are a bit dry and drawn out. The whole things Is a bit boring and like the Mountains of Maddness take until about half way to get going but once it does its pretty great. 😊
