I like to imagine that in alternate timelines where either Hanzo or Genji won the fight by killing the other, their mythic skins are their alternate selves. Hanzo becomes an onryÅ through the ancient magic of the shimada clan if he dies, and Genji is found right before his brainwaves cease and undergoes the Overwatch universeâs equivalent of the soulkiller from cyberpunk, so that his cyberized soul could be placed within the frame of the cyberdemon.
Imagine if their was a bow difference that you can summon skeleton wolves too depending on preference

Man I main Hanzo and I do like the skin but... it is not a mythical skin
It it just a legendary skin with color changes, which he already has. Everything this skin has other Hanzo skins already have. (Except for the voice distortion)
I love Hanzo, and I do think this is a very cool skin, but the whole point of Mythic skins are meant to be the customizations, but you only get two options. It just seems kind of lazy, like they gave up 2/3 way though what could have been one of, if not the BEST mythical skin.

I noticed the voice for hanzo becomes regular hanzos voice for enemies and allies for this mythic skin. They need to fix that bug. Itâs the same for Anaâs mythic skin. You use a voice line with her robot voice and you yourself only hear the robot voice. Allies and enemies hear regular Anaâs voice. Fix that bug now blizzard!

@@HeyItsCres Makes no sense to me. Why choose the skin if you donât get to make your enemies fear you when they hear a talon evil robot Ana, or a dark Hanzo filled with ghostly vengeance
Unfortunately thatâs no bug, thatâs the way it is for all the ones with voice modifications. The season one genji skin had a voice mod that only the person playing it could hear. I think the reason behind it was so people could know who was speaking and so it wouldnât confuse other players (if I remember correctly)
This sounds like the exact same filter they used for Darin DePaul voicing Calus in Destiny.

Ok, so, Blizzard has been feeding us on the idea of these epic Mythic skins we can "customize" at our own will, but, honestly, i've personally always prefer the Mythic's initial appearence. The whole customization thing has always seemed a bit underwhelming, but, still, they're there, this season though, the lack of them makes you wonder if customization was ever truly the focus, by all means, the Hanzo Ãnryo skin is INCREDIBLE. The altered voicelines really embody the whole vengefull spirit well, the sounds of ghastly winds and hollow bones glue it all together for the Halloween season, so, at the very least, quality always supercedes quantity, but Bliz should decide on what they actually want to do with these concepts
