I am an Indian and I can assure you that Indian girls don’t like bald men. It’s really ingrained in the culture. It’s very hard to get married if you are bald. I had started balding when I was 16 and I decided to shave off my head when I turned 25. 10 years later I can say that I love being bald. 😀

Age is not the limit on life - putting a time limit on exploring this world is unneeded. Just found your channel randomly and looked at your story. Keep up the good work, I'm sure you are giving confidence to a lot of younger people. I shaved my head like in 2008 (was 30 at that time) and I must say I never had any regrets about my hair. What people may not understand is that you worry about your hair when you are loosing them, but as soon as you take the decision to shave your head, for 95%+ of people it wont bother you anymore and you may add that there are tons of advantages to live without hairs (sport, daily routine, etc.). Also about women, I assume it may depend on individual experience, but I had like 4-5 times more success without hair, it's all about confidence and showing who you are. And last but not least, I'm nearly 42 today and I still look the same as I was in my late 20's. You could think that going bald is a "disaster" when you are under 30 but it's actually a very good thing later on. How many 35+ male have thin hairs, gray hairs, hair wraps, etc. that make look them way older than they are? A nice clean shaved head will make you look young for a few decades after your 30's.

Ehh yes and no. Speaking from my experience with women it didn't change about the specificity group because most women don't care, some don't like it, and some love the shaved head but majority of women cared about what goals i had in life and confidence.

Martyn You’re right, my relatives back there see me as some kind of freak. But I think it’s also because early hairloss in particular is relatively uncommon in the Indian subcontinent. Here in the West guys are starting to go bald in their teens now so a shaved head isn’t that big a deal anymore.

As you say yourself, you got a lot of attention both with hair and as a bald man. I’ve made peace with my hairloss and been shaving my head for 2.5 years now and do my best to carry the look with confidence, yet I’m still single. Then again, I never got attention with hair either! Today friend of my father saw me for a first time with head shaved on zero with ANDIS T- Outliner. And he did not even look at my bald head, it was interesting experience, because last time when he saw me I still had my hairs, balding at the top of the head, and with clean shaved face, and now I cut hairs for a bald look with ANDIS T-Outliner and I grow a beard, so my look changed a lot. Some people just don't care about your hairs guys, stay positive.

Thank you for your work! Your support was really helpful for me to shave my head. I have now a beard as well, but sometimes I am not sure to keep it. I got often that it looks like a terrorist. Always the same jokes. It would be great to make maybe a video about this subject and how can we avoid this criticism. Maybe a better shape for the beard or such things.
What I've noticed - and I don't mean this in any harsh way - is that most guys with hair actually look bad! (dorky, goofy, feminine, etc.) I mean if you look objectively, not assuming immediately that someone looks better just because they have hair, you'll start to notice that the hair actually looks kind of ridiculous. I honestly think most men would actually look better bald. It's just a weird cultural prejudice that seems to favor hair for whatever reason. But it definitely isn't rooted (no pun intended) in anything other than social convention. We should definitely get over that, lol -- and much respect for Harry for raising that awareness through this channel.
While i dont see it as extreme as you, one big truth you are seeing there is, that many men with hair are not looking good. Look at all the reported dating struggles, the harsh tinder statistics and so on... so many men WITH FULL HAIR cant get women. So fuckin many. Its not really a bald thing. And even if it gives you a disadvantage, well... full head of hair and no luck with women? Geez, that must mean you are not very attractive either.

I have been shaving my head since i split with my ex girl about 12 years ago and have not had a date since. Girls don't notice me really and think of me as an older guy. It made me just look older. The fact is some guys do look better with hair, like it or not and younger. Especially in their 50's look even older shaving their head. Martyn You’re right, my relatives back there see me as some kind of freak. But I think it’s also because early hairloss in particular is relatively uncommon in the Indian subcontinent. Here in the West guys are starting to go bald in their teens now so a shaved head isn’t that big a deal anymore.

Sorry, I have been shaving my head for years now and I can tell that I get more attention from women with a bald head than I did with a full head of hair and trust me I had lots attention back then.
The secret is to act as you did before you lost your hair, just don't give a sh*t, because women can pick out insecure man a mile away. really trust me on this. If you're worried about being bald, it will show in your face and the way that you carry yourself. Just go out there with confidence and don't give a crap, it really works...
Kup1966 The bottom line is that if you looked good with hair you will look good bald. If you didn’t look good with hair then you probably won’t look good bald. As you say yourself, you got a lot of attention both with hair and as a bald man. I’ve made peace with my hairloss and been shaving my head for 2.5 years now and do my best to carry the look with confidence, yet I’m still single. Then again, I never got attention with hair either! Haha

Today friend of my father saw me for a first time with head shaved on zero with ANDIS T- Outliner.
And he did not even look at my bald head, it was interesting experience, because last time when he saw me I still had my hairs, balding at the top of the head, and with clean shaved face, and now I cut hairs for a bald look with ANDIS T-Outliner and I grow a beard, so my look changed a lot.

Thank you for your work! Your support was really helpful for me to shave my head. I have now a beard as well, but sometimes I am not sure to keep it. I got often that it looks like a terrorist. Always the same jokes. It would be great to make maybe a video about this subject and how can we avoid this criticism. Maybe a better shape for the beard or such things.

What I've noticed - and I don't mean this in any harsh way - is that most guys with hair actually look bad! (dorky, goofy, feminine, etc.) I mean if you look objectively, not assuming immediately that someone looks better just because they have hair, you'll start to notice that the hair actually looks kind of ridiculous. I honestly think most men would actually look better bald. It's just a weird cultural prejudice that seems to favor hair for whatever reason. But it definitely isn't rooted (no pun intended) in anything other than social convention. We should definitely get over that, lol -- and much respect for Harry for raising that awareness through this channel.
While i dont see it as extreme as you, one big truth you are seeing there is, that many men with hair are not looking good. Look at all the reported dating struggles, the harsh tinder statistics and so on... so many men WITH FULL HAIR cant get women. So fuckin many. Its not really a bald thing. And even if it gives you a disadvantage, well... full head of hair and no luck with women? Geez, that must mean you are not very attractive either.

Man personally I don't like that faded cut or mullet cut on short hair it just looks and feels like all the men are having same haircut no variety, you can watch on streets almost all look same with short hair. Hey Harry! I shaved my head about 11 months ago after watching one of your videos, and to be honest, I love it. Saying that, I am currently in the process of growing it back out as I am so sick of having to shave it every morning. Does the amount of maintenance it takes bother you at all? Like, I travel a lot and there's not always an opportunity for me to whip a razor out yerno? Also, loving the videos, as always!

I have been shaving my head since i split with my ex girl about 12 years ago and have not had a date since. Girls don't notice me really and think of me as an older guy. It made me just look older. I dont like beards and want to look like every bald guy with a big beard. I do have a slight go T. I put myself out there but dont aggressively go after it. The fact is some guys do look better with hair, like it or not and younger. Especially in their 50's look even older shaving their head. Not hating on bald cause i have been shaving my head for 13 years. Just saying some guys look better and have more confidence with hair.
