- Today I am upgrading my "Gromphadorhina Portentosa" Madagascar Hissing Roaches into a 20 gallon tank. These have bred like crazy and I have alot of adults that would appreciate a larger space. I have some smaller creature keepers that im going to isolate some of the Big males into so there isnt so much fighting going on. These roaches are getting a Bio Active set up today! Check out how I do and drop me a comment with what you guys think or if you have any suggestions!

Wow I really like that sliding lid design. And I love how you set up the roaches enclosure, it looks amazing, keep up the great work. ✌️😁👍
It works well! Keeps the humidity in and Roaches are secure! 🤙🏼 thank you my bro! I appreciate your continued support greatly! 😎🤟🏼 I’ll keep on keepin on as Joe Dirt would say! Lol!
getting roaches in 2 days this helps me a lot, thank you brother
🤜🤛
Nice! I’m glad my video is helpful! Happy Holidays! 🤙🏼
Thanks mate
Bro your almost there 81 subs congratulations brother. Im glad your getting back on track bro. If I got roaches my wife would flip lol great video
Yup I’m get me some subs! Lol yeah the Roaches aren’t necessarily everyone’s idea of a cool or good pet. Haha they are interesting creatures though!
science teacher!! That's awesome!
Great setup! Spoiled hissers!! :)
Is that lid going to keep babies in? Those guys can get into TIGHT spaces!
I have not had issues with the babies escaping. The holes I drilled maybe could be a little smaller, but I had branches and lots of places for them to hide and I think they felt safe and comfortable in that environment and they didn’t really try to escape.
How did that science teacher thing go for you? I know this was like a year ago, but I’d love to know :D
I actually really enjoy teaching science. The curriculum is really cool and my reptiles are a huge part of my classroom management. Thank you for your interest and continued support! 🤟🏼😎🤟🏼
@@prehistoriccompanions7033 That's awesome! I'm really glad it worked out for you! :D
How do you manage overpopulation? I don't have any lizzard or anything that eats them
I have had to isolate the males from the females. It did get a little pricey purchasing separate enclosures for all my males, but that’s what I had to do because they were breeding out of control! I have lizards and frogs that eat these roaches and they still breed like crazy!
@@prehistoriccompanions7033 thank you man, I think I'll do the same, nice enclosure!
@@underlogK Good deal, hope it works out for ya! You could get small critter keepers and sell the males as pets! Great for kids and educators!
