These Reviews are so well edited! I hope Lego releases a huge wave of sets like lush caves, dripstone cave, deep dark so we get a hour long review! what if they were all separate sets that you could stack on top!

Something like the Harry Potter Line's modularity would be cool to see, though it would make the overall lack of game accuracy a bit more glaring, I feel..
Honestly, I think that NOTHING will EVER compete with this guy's minecraft MOC. It is SO detailed, I am SO impressed, its amazing, I love it, congrats on being literally the best lego minecraft builder on youtube

The warden is surprisingly better than I thought. It's big but a really fun build with nice posability and strength. It's a shame the other minifigs are lacking though 😕

I have been dying for the set ever since it was announced and this review just makes me want it more! I’ve even been working on custom expansions for the set and can’t wait to add it to my Minecraft world!
I got this set yesterday, and I love it! It's the most fun I've had with a lego minecraft set since all the way back in the first wave, when I got the end set with the awesome full diamond armor. I love the sets that have the bosses/boss arenas in them. I also fought my first warden in the game today. My friend and I fought and killed 10 of them before we decided to pack up and go home. It was a very stressful, but extremely fun time. I had to wait until after to build the set, because I wasn't going to let myself build a mob i haven't beaten before!
Cannot wait to get my hands on this set! It is fantstic! The warden is a beauty and that posability is great! The shrieker is also a nice little build that print for the souls in it sweet. And the set itself looks bigger here then in the official pictures! Got my hands on the end arena and frozen peak sets a bit early, gonna be a nice treat to end the year with. Cannot wait to add this wave to the collection
i recently have bought my second Lego Minecraft set, the coral reef, mostly for the minifigures. planning to buy the deep dark set next, because of the warden, enchanted hoe, enchanted crossbow, netherite armor and the scuk blocks + extras (other items and blocks). my plan is to build my own block accurate sets.
A year late but i realized the warden chest tiles could be used as a monster in the deep seas like the kraken from that pirates of the Caribbean 2 scene

Bro, I also wasn't interested in the jungle abomination set, but my wife bought it for me for just this Christmas, and oh boy, you have to build it, I haven't had this much fun building a creature, let alone a Minecraft one in ages! There are so clever techniques in there, it's amazing.

Anyways, I don’t really feel like buying this sets, mainly because there’s not much besides the warden ( which I will remember my first time encountering ) and two players. The two sets I might be picking up however is the mangrove swamp and end battle for the slime, and shulker ( plus I don’t have an end set, and the mangrove looks fun ) Anyways early happy early new year! I really like their Warden design but I have no clue why they included the bright aqua highlights in it. It makes it look too bright and I think it would have been better to exclude those colors entirely.
After building this all out I feel better about the price. It's still not great, but heck, if this was Star Wars you know it would be a hundred bucks or something ridiculous lol!
I think they should have used mainly black and dark blue, then used teal for activated sensors. Also, missed opportunity not printing one of those tiles into a recovery compass
I really appreciate how ready and willing you are to criticise LEGO where necessary, even though they've sent you the set for free. A lot of up and coming creators get that first review sample of a product and think they've gotta sell out to keep them coming. These reviews are incredibly fair and balanced. Good on you, man!

I’m getting it in around 3 weeks so pretty soon! I’m super exited, I keep rewatching your review to really remind myself that it’s actually a thing, I went to toys r us on Saturday in Canada and thy had 3 of these just sitting on the bottom shelf lol, that hefty $85 CAD price-tag is definitely showing it’s part lol, it’s like $90 CAD after tax lol, definitely an expensive set, but it’ll be worth it! Definitely gonna get the sword outpost, the bee cottage, or the frozen peaks set next, still deciding between the 3, would you by any chance have a suggestion on what set I should get after the deep dark battle? Between the bee cottage, sword outpost, and the frozen peaks?
@@rmarquez5 I know it's the priciest of the three, but the Sword Outpost is probably my favorite 2023 Minecraft set so far! Lots of good stuff in there, and it's a great-looking set!
I like the model for the Warden, it's a good size and looks pretty accurate and being able to raise him up is very cool. But i feel like this set doesn't do justice to the beauty of the deep dark. I really liked your version of it and although i wouldn't expect lego to go to that level of detail this feels very simple in comparison.
That Warden is pretty damm neat. Shame the back looks like it's made of Swiss cheese lol. The fact he can be moved around so much is so cool. Makes me wonder, could you remove his legs to make it appear like he is coming out of the ground?
This is definitely the one Minecraft set I’m getting this January. Not only is the warden amazing but the Arbalest Knight is probably my new favorite Lego Minecraft skin. Sure the printing on the face may be a little bit sub optimal but Lego has definitely done way worse before. Just look at the Mercy figure from the Overwatch wave for an excellent example. Lego just really stinks at printing light colors over darker ones. Overall though I really like this set & while I’m not that interested in Minecraft sets as much, I will definitely be picking this one up. Now if only they would do a decently large Lush Caves set.
Great review and a great set. It's even reasonably priced (as far as LEGO prices are reasonable...). I'll wait for a discount nonetheless. Warden looks cool, the moveability is awesome.
It's really impressive, all the while being extremely sturdy too. I understand that the proportions aren't perfect, but as a toy, this is top-tier stuff!

That's fair! Thankfully those are easy and affordable to replace if you'd like. I personally like the lighter tones and the contrast it adds
Them re-using the Shulker piece for the Shrieker is clever and was probaly a reason we got the new mold since they could re-use it and all.
