I’m currently using the Goretex Fly 2 in the blue color walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I’m about 20 miles in with two days of heavy rain (AKA muddy and lots of slippery rocks) and my feet have stayed dry. Love em
If you’re buying the Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 online, here’s my sizing suggestion based on experience: • My true size is 8.5, but for some sneakers, I go up to 9 because they look better or fit differently. However, for the ACG Mountain Fly 2, stick to your Converse Chuck 70 size (true size 8.5 in my case). • Once you get them, if they feel slightly snug, switch to a thinner insole. This adjustment works perfectly since the ACG already has a slightly higher heel area, making it more comfortable. In summary, don’t upsize for the ACG. Stick with your true size, use your Converse Chuck 70 as a reference, and tweak the insole if necessary for the best fit!
Yes, I hiked up to the top of mt st helens this past weekend with them and they felt fine. A 9 hour hike, with excessive up and downhill, the only issue I had was a right bruised big toe nail on the way down, but other than that I enjoyed the hike.
I feel like you should do like a challenge series of different distances or something. Or like more time trials like you did couple years back on youtube.
Thanks for the vid! Just wondering how long you've been wearing the shoes? Will it stretched out? Just bought a week ago, and my pinky toe hurts (bought true size).. :/

They just released GTX version….
My pinky toe hurts so much when I keep them on for more than 2 hours
Could these be used for walking trails as opposed to running? Do you think the support would be substantial?

@@InTheLongRunthank you. I want to buy the shoes for the same reason. I don't do trial runs.
Good review, thanks! Would you recommend these shoes for road running?
Good thing they are brightly colored for running during hunting season!
Haha yes!! 🐻

No prob! It should. I do not wear them too often. My right foot pinky toe felt jammy towards the upper but it loosened up.
Does anyone know the stack height and/or the heel to toe drop?
Also wondering this
My original mountain flys had horrible chunking issues on the outsole. How have gen 2 held up for you?
Are these zero drop?
Which Nikes are you wearing in the “a few moment later” section?
Nike Zoom X Invincible 3
did you size up?
Stayed true to size
You running at Silver Creek? Looks like Oregon.
Silver Falls
@InTheLongRun Nice. I could tell right away. I was looking for a shoe review and you happen to be exactly where I plan to be going in said shoes.👌
What up Fam!!! Hope you are doing well Dr Josh
What up Luis!! Hope you are doing well too 🦫
The 2 doesn't have fly plate and it's much harder like a rock. much uncomfortable.
Just got these for $56!!!
Where?
@@jandrews4384 Nike had a huge sale online where they were 50% off
Great video🫡
Thank you!
These are way too heavy. I wear a size 13, and they must weigh a pound each 😂😂
It could've been a nice review, If i wasn't surprised at 1:31. I'm leaving my first thumb's down here.
Far too solid… garbage
