Depending on how hard you are on your down jackets, the ghost whisperer can struggle with abrasion resistance/durability and fall more into the ultra light category. MW’s warranty is decentralized but if you’re not a through hiker and 2.5 oz extra weight is okay going with a more durable option for a super pricey jacket is. Gotta love a good 800fill down puffy :-)
I have this one for less hardish wear, and another that can take a beating and bulkier. The one I want to get but it’s stupid pricy is from Volbak. It’s indestructible
@BrandonTalbot hey man, was there a size difference for you between Adidas Terrex cldrdy and Nike Mountain fly? Can you also mention the brand of the pants that you showcased them with? Thanks a lot
We’ll all the reviews told me to order the adidas bigger than my normal size and so I did and it’s huge so honestly, I would have been better off getting my normal size.
@@BrandonTalbot thank you so much for replying, but I actually meant your Nike Mountain Fly size, my Adidas Cold rdy is US12 but not sure same size Nike s would fit me. Thanks
It would be fine for a day hike. It really depends on the mileage, and how much gear you’re carrying. I’d suggest the Boundary Supply Arris which is insanely light and can be used for a day hike or something much more serious.

Tru-ish to size. Have an interesting fit around the heel. Wear a thicker sock and your solid. Love them. But I actually just ordered a pair of lupineks on eBay, still the best shoe I’ve ever owned
It’s funny, this video started off as gear that doesn’t need firmwear updates - but it didn’t make sense really to have some clothes and then some random Prices of gear… and I like clothes especially technical clothing and so I went with that. I thought about mentioning them, but didn’t want the video to be 27 minutes long. Short story long - Duer Adventure pant.
