Thank you so much for your videos. You have helped me so.much. don't laugh I'm a 70 year old 50 and 100-meter sprinter. When I first started I ran a 14 sec 100. I progressed to 13.5. Probably don't have more in me but still trying. Will be entering the senior games next year. Thank you Coach .
Your dedication and progress are truly inspiring! I believe it's more impressive to be sprinting at 70 than at 20. Keep pushing your limits; who knows what milestones you'll achieve next. Best of luck at the senior games, and remember, talent and age is the floor, character is the ceiling. Keep us updated and thank you for your kind words.
Sprinting helps slow down telomere shortening in your DNA. Essentially helping you live longer. I’m 43 and have been a sprinter on and off since my teens and now middle distance. Keep going hard mate, it’s awesome what you’re doing 👊
This makes sense. Wish someone had coached this to me when I ran high school track 50 years ago. I'm going to try this on my next sprint drills. Yes, I still run track; the only differences are no cinders anywhere on the circuit, and meters have replaced yards.
This is great! Thank you for this useful insight. I used to be a wide receiver and Jack Elway already taught me to push off the front leg and lift the back. I was fast, running 100 meters in 10.27 seconds when I was 17. Then I stopped sprinting and forgot nearly everything since. Now back in bussiness at 50 years and training for the world masters 2024. I believe this video will help me a lot to get my speed back….of course, age adjusted 😊 Thank you coach!
Very welcome! With a previous 100 meters time of 10.27 you've got a solid foundation to build upon. Re-engaging with sprinting at 50 presents its unique challenges, but also a remarkable opportunity. We did a video on the history of Sub-10 sprinting and one of the best stories was learning about Kim Collins and how he ran his fastest 100m when he was past 40. Best of luck reigniting that sprinting spark and chasing down those goals!
Thank you so much for your motivation 🙏😃 I just re-started 6 weeks ago and it’s been tough. My speed is still OK past 20-30 meters, but I’m struggling with the first 10-20m. Will keep working on getting back to speed and will use all of your awesome videos to get there 🙏💪
@@OutperformOfficialthank you so much! Kim Collins is now my idol and you guys are awesome and I am so thankful for your great videos. I already improvement my first 10 meters out of the blocks by 0.2 seconds and my 60 meter time by 0.6 seconds. Still a long way to be competive for the finals at the masters, but I will give all I have. I will keep you posted. 😃💪
You should do a breakdown of Su Bingtian. His start is one of the best I’ve seen. This is a cool video. It’s similar to the basis of the Jamaican toe drag technique.
Thank you for sharing your incredible journey with us! It's fantastic to hear about your improvement and transition to coaching. Here's to even more progress and success on the track!
Nice video on explaining how to distribute weight in stance and how to use legs when running. I never thought of using a "push/pull" method when sprinting. Definitely going to utilize this now when sprinting

What should be the start technique for a field athlete like soccer or lacrosse where you have to have your torso and head relatively vertical most of the time?
@@christianwendt7852 If you are 5.9 or taller with a lean atheletic frame with proper scientific training under a high level coach it's not impossible. Cause u can improve force production , can train CNS and even improve tendon elasticity with right training.
Hello Coach, first of all I have something to ask for your advice. I have a problem with arm swinging because I'm tense, so my performance decreases. How should I fix it? Neither the coach nor he can give me any advice. I hope you can help me.😢
Too much tension and tightness will absolutely slow you down. Funny enough, a lot of that tension starts in the face. We made a video on it, there is some great tips that should help you. Check it out and let us know how it goes. th-cam.com/video/0Xt4lF8xcB0/w-d-xo.html
Great starting point, sounds like you have potential. That's a difficult question to answer as individuals differ in their response to training, physical development etc. Best advice is to focus on the process, work hard, have fun and the results will happen.
Im build like zeem and i find out that weight dont really help me with getting faster ,plyo on the other hand i see most improvement. Im 30 year old and ive been lifting all my life so should i avoid heavy lifting and prioritize power and reaction exercise like plyos?
What we do at my university is lift heavy in the preseason and then do lighter lifts focused on reaction time and explosiveness during the season while also mixing in plyos, hope this helps!

It is amazing that at that age you run that fast. Most people at 70 y.o. cant even walk without help

Nice...the guy is running really fast

Thank you sir...❤️ How many years of treaning normally a beginner athlete need (to run 100m under 10s)
4-5 to 7-8 years
Not everyone is able to do that. You need the right genes as well. E.g., the German record is 10.01s...
