Yaay for this, great seeing Paul and Jack together. Paul was my favourite American song writer, and Jack is still one of the best bassists in the world
Correction: On Drums is Dean Johnson, (Robin Trower, Dick Dale, Bill Spooner, Kevin Russell & many others) Prairie's frequent substitute. Great guy, incredible drummer and old friend of mine.
Just found this gem! I LOVE Darby Gould. Great early version of the rebuilt Jefferson Airlines. Jack...Insane...Slick was sweeeet…….and then there's Paul...Thanx for posting this!
Fuk this sounds SO GOOD!! So wish they closed with a world tour that included Australia. This band is about the best thing that happened musically in the US at the time. Go fly the music VALE PAUL KANTNER RIP. I will never forget what you guys did for my thinking & mind, way of looking at things & your love for us all. ps & thx for the acid thrown from the stage till it got to hot to do& by then it was bears everywhere (A BEAR MELT LOLS) :-)
Best version of latter day JA imho... perhaps best period. Sound (vocals) and visual quality needs improvement, but the good spirit of the band is apparent throughout the gig... Papa's country/blues music love it! Darby's alto vocals perfect match. "Dark Ages"... hard to disagree...happy to be...with you...

Correction to my correction! It is Prairie on Drums. On closer view I see I was wrong. Dean is PP sub and plays a white Pearl set. My Bad. Sorry
Great music and musicians. Wish I'd have been there.
thanks for posting. glad Jack didn't fall off the stage
That’s funny! Just saw them on their final electric tour, in Washington DC
~thanks..................
That's great, thank you very much!
Cool vocal blend with this lineup.
It's hard to believe that Kantner lived another 25 years after this abusing himself the way he did. RIP.
