I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. What a great help after dropping my Osmo Pocket, as well and searching for quite awhile for an answer! Kudos!
Just wanna share that I used the stick pad method and also glue down the sticker, but it still won't work after months. But I did not give up my gimbal. So, I just used a nail filer to file down the edge of the camera head and the sticker, and now it works. Thanks for sharing for tricks, you did couraged me to try more before dumping it into the trash can.
I have not used it for a while, and then the problem came back. Before I sent it to electronics recycling, I gave it another try. I spray some "magic" WD 40 to the gimbal joint and put the sticky pad back for a few days. Now it just works excellent every day! I am trying to turn it on every day to ensure it works smoothly. Everyone should not easily give up this.
@@ceciliahui2137 I just used WD 40 on mine just like you said and it seems to have helped a little bit. Thank you for the advice. Hopefully it gets fully better.
@@ceciliahui2137 hey man i know it has been 1 year but could you help me out step by step how you did it, its really annoying and my dad spent alot of money on my osmo pocket thanks dude!
This is genius and really works! I didn't even drop mine but for some reason I had this exact issue all of the sudden. You just saved me a lot of money. Thank you Sir!
I’ll purchase one of these from a guy who maybe thought he was pulling a fast one. I noticed that the gimbal didn’t work because I have a pocket three already. I paid $80 for this. I put the cards in and when I lifted up, I could see whatever was detached reattached! Bingo I now have two cameras thanks so much for this video
You rock! I was afraid on putting pressure on the Gimbal head, but this seemed like a decent solution and best of all, it worker like a charm. Starter a bit low on the height (of my Playing Cards), so had to repeat a couple of times adding 1 card at a time. But in the end it worked out. Hopefully DJI will enlarge the case for the Pocket 3, since this way it didn’t provide the right amount of protection.
Thank you so much! I faced the same problem and when searching for a solution came across your vid. I fixed it as you described, and it works. Kudos!!!
A mi me tiraron mi cámara al suelo y paso el mismo error Lo solucione apagándolo y girando la cámara manualmente, después calibre el gimbal y volvió a funcionar correctamente
Haha, yeah every OP owner have dropped their baby at least once and your first aid technique to revive our beloved one will come in handy. Good tip :- ))
thanks so much... I had same problem today and I was very scared about it.... just tried to puch softly the gimball like you and now is fixed again.... thanks

Omgggg thank you so much! You just helped me!!!! 😊
When you’re working with mechanical forces like this, letting it sit for 30 minutes isn’t gonna make a difference. It’s the initial force you apply.
Thanks a ton !! Fixed the same issue for me.
