A good review going into detail. Nice to see the build process as well. They have an interesting choice to glue the lower arms on. The flat on flat is optimal for plastic glue and I for one am happy they fit the bases and can actually rank up.

Its not hard to make a unit rank up when the horse isnt the size of a fucking Clydesdale.

I like them better than the GW model. Fits better on the base.

      Most likely cheaper too....

Great review, thanks for sharing, the FF undead knights look totally badass.
Will you start a VC army too or are these miniatures for your buddy?
I hope we can see you KoE force again some day.

I already have a VC army, and these will be used as barrow knights for a cavalry heavy Karnstein force.

As for the KoE... playing peasants is punishing... lol

@@guardbeardiabeardio1273 Right, but you could field more knights instead of peasants ;) I rarely take more than one peasant block as mage bunker or the scorpion crew. Hordes of footsluggers work better with Sonnstahl...

Nice video. Pressed subscribe when you started to actually build one of the minis. But do yourself a favor and get a bottle of Tamiya extra thin cement. That bottle with its big nozzle seems to be a terrible way of getting a little glue to delicate places.

I use Hobby Town Extra thick Super Glue. I never had luck with the thin stuff and I always glued myself to... everything.

I finally get mine at home, they are awesome, a pity the horse scale didn't fit well with GW black knights. I have a question, did u have the opportunity to test and see Mantic undead cavalry? I think almost all knights will have the same problem, "small horses", if you put them side by side with GW.

Did you say you were going to throw the oval bases away? Why not base some trees or walls or some such on them?

  • @breandan3280

How well do they scale with GW's Lord of the rings models?

Probably not well. They fit very well with their old warhammer kits though. They would work great as alternative Black Knights, that why I got the kit anyway.
