@@Jeff97405 I actually put this wrecker together just for the boom originally. I use it to load my bulldozer blades most of the time. I like to mess with junk or nearly junk cars. Just a hobby. I think the wheel lift would fit an 18in wide tire. That covers anything I'm likely to move with it.
Nomar wheel grids. Get a small block of wood to put under the tires, it helps get both cam locks to lock properly.
What brand is this I've never seen it before looks like a bad design to me the grids are either barely hanging on or the tuning is extremely weak

Those trucks came with just a L style wheel lift bar. What you going to do if the tires bigger than those U brackets you made nicely???
I'll use the sling. I've got a couple flat bed trailers also if need be.

It's a factory made wheel lift. Both the wheel lift and sling work nicely.
