We adopted 3yo Milo last year, and while he already knew how to sit, he finds - everything - so exciting and distracting. I'd love for him to be able to sit somewhat calmly when meeting people on our walks (his favourite thing in the world), but he's so energetic that it can be a bit too much, especially for kids. So I'll start at home with other distractions such as toys and the neighbours. Thank you so much for the great advice!

A great plan! Break it down into teeny tiny pieces and Milo will be a rockstar in no time!
