I never even heard of this. What a cool crafts for pet parents and enrichment for pets. Reposting! Edut: now that I think about it, with cat's nails being so much more finer and sharper, they would have to be some type of material that was flexible enough to be manipulated like these cloth strips, but slick enough do not catch the cat's nails. Something plasticky or stringy 🤔? Maybe that plastic string that we used to make gimpy bracelets out of back in the day. Do you know what I'm talking about?
@@CDHpetcare it’s one of our favorite enrichment activities!!! You know, I’ve never tried a different material for my cats, and almost wonder if a plastic type material would make it too easy for them to get the treats out of since it’s more floppy, you know what I mean? I think I know what plastic string you’re talking about too but I think that could potentially become a choking hazard. I had a cat once that tried to eat the yarn off one of my scarves that was thin like that and we had to pull it out of him 🤦🏻♀️ maybe try the felt but just do one later instead of the two that I did and see what they think!!

I used a cardboard box for the 1st one and for the second i bought a rubber car mat and burned holes in it. Hope this help.)
