I really love the shout-out!! And, for you showing these fantastic shows to camera fella!!
I know every one of these bar a few (Absolutely, The Detectives). I quote a lot in day to day life, can do a pretty accurate "Suits You Sir" from Fast Show, and Tubbs and Edward from League of Gentlemen -"What's going on? What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here."
It's amazing the talents come out of these Isles. I could go on about Rik Mayall a sorely missed favourite of the bunch, but props, I have discovered some stuff here to watch that I haven't heard of.
Have you ever seen Garth Marenghi's Dark Place by the way? Another fantastic Channel 4 show and a parody of Horror and Sci-fi so I feel you may like it. Also on All4.

Didn’t really like dark place too much. Maybe should have given it a second chance. I don’t mind Black Adder with Rowan Atkinson. Even if it is a bit smug. But wouldn’t get them on disk.
I should follow up soon with the noughtys comedy’s too. I,d say JAM by Chris Morris is more darker/deranged than The League Of Gentlemen. With the blackness of humor.

Eddie not Edward 11:52 l,d describe Bottom as deadpan brutal slapstick saddo comedy. Fecking love it. Also Fast Show impression l forgot to do l was very very drunk.
