Not sure if it’s quite clear, when people say he “freestyles his songs” none of em are like freestyles that were later turned into a song. In musician terms Juice recorded songs using the “punch in method” so he would just record over a track without physically writing anything down and punch in and out of the recording if needed, hence people saying “freestyle”. what really was unique about juice though is that he could make a song in one take a lot of the time without ever needing to make punch in. Verses choruses all fully structured himself in the first take over a beat, it’s not cut up or anything post recording. They do some post production to the instrumental part, but all of the songs are the way he recorded and structured em. Hope that gives some clarity! Honestly I just say that because knowing that as a songwriter yourself you could probably appreciate the music in a different light knowing that. Dig your stuff man been following for a while!

Yes thank you for including this. If you look up rockstar in his prime (the 14 minute version one) you’ll see the whole punching in and punching out. He hums and mumbles to find the right things to say which is amazing how he can create and chorus and verses on the spot.

Yeah this song is a banger. I love his flow on the track and just his overall energy. It’s more hype and upbeat, even though of course he does still talk about the drugs and stuff, but in terms of how it sounds. And then having his savage lyrics in there aswell lol. love these videos i've been a fan for so long. i love how you put bias aside considering you dont like some of the raunchy lyrics but you still appreciate the work that goes into these songs regardless of what they're talking about. you are so underrated man. if i can make a recommendation i would definetely say to PLEASE check out more Travis Scott. you did franchise which is good but it isnt even anywhere close to his best work and he actually produces most of his own music and it is all so thorough and articulate that i would love to see you break it down and get your thoughts on it. some good ones are 90210 (possibly the best tbh), CANT SAY, YOSEMITE, STOP TRYING TO BE GOD, goosebumps, pornography, maria im drunk.
