Awesome setup. That Linq system is so great for the LS Shuttle on your box. Rock lights look pretty handy too, might have to do something like that on my sled. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I actually got the idea for the lights from another TH-camr named “the Maine Trout Whisperer“, who has a set up very similar to mine. He used rock lights on the sides, but put a much bigger rectangular shaped light in the back. I considered that, but I didn’t want to cut a big hole in the box to mount it.
I forgot to show and mention in the video, but I also have two small LED strip lights, one under the front lip and one under the back lip that lights up the inside very nicely
mounting the auger to the front is less about keeping an eye on it and more about keeping snow, ice and slush from accumulating all over the auger motor or drill.
And that’s why I said there are mixed opinions on the matter. There is not really a right way, or a wrong way, it’s just a matter of personal preference. My last sled I had it on front and it worked OK, but in any real deep powdery snow it still got on the auger. I know that mounting on the back is not always the perfect situation, but that’s why I made the waterproof covers, so that and my electronics won’t get destroyed

Very nice setup. I suggest maybe one of those rock lights in the box to light up inside. See you on the ice.
