Awesome setup. That Linq system is so great for the LS Shuttle on your box. Rock lights look pretty handy too, might have to do something like that on my sled. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I actually got the idea for the lights from another TH-camr named “the Maine Trout Whisperer“, who has a set up very similar to mine. He used rock lights on the sides, but put a much bigger rectangular shaped light in the back. I considered that, but I didn’t want to cut a big hole in the box to mount it.
I forgot to show and mention in the video, but I also have two small LED strip lights, one under the front lip and one under the back lip that lights up the inside very nicely
The Turbo R is a higher performance engine. Has 180hp while the Turbo that you have has 130hp. Also available is the 900 ACE without the Turbo, at 95hp. SE model has the rear air ride, comes standard with the seat and cargo box, and adjustable handlebar riser. Was only available as Spring Order. All models with the 900 ACE are liquid cooled and have an automotive style fan cooled radiator up front. Awesome machines. I have the 2024 SE with the Turbo R and love it. Really like your mods.
@@CR-rp9eb thank you sir! My original intent was to get the turbo R, but unfortunately, inventory in my area was virtually nil at the time. But so far, I’m pretty happy with the performance of what I got, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to have plenty for my needs.
Nice video. I got my Expedition last year and did a lot of mods too. Didn't get much use last year due to weather but I am really looking forward to many trips this year.
Great setup. Looking for the links you mentioned. Particularly, for the mounting plate. You state “JDS Customs” in the video, but you mention in the comments JD Custom. I did some searching and there are a lot of similar companies out there. Thanks

mounting the auger to the front is less about keeping an eye on it and more about keeping snow, ice and slush from accumulating all over the auger motor or drill.
And that’s why I said there are mixed opinions on the matter. There is not really a right way, or a wrong way, it’s just a matter of personal preference. My last sled I had it on front and it worked OK, but in any real deep powdery snow it still got on the auger. I know that mounting on the back is not always the perfect situation, but that’s why I made the waterproof covers, so that and my electronics won’t get destroyed
FF, you stated you would add links to the products you were showing. Not seeing any. Am particularly interested in what the GPS unit is - Brand and Model - and the chip for the snowmobile trails. Also, where did you get the mount you have attached for the Garmin 7. Thanks.
My apologies, for some reason the actual links did not attach to the first comment. Try these below. If the hyperlink does not work, copy and paste into your browser and it should take you there. The Garmin unit is the Drive 53 5" screen that I bought from Bass Pro Shops. I purchased the Trailmasters map card from St. Hillaire Motor Sports, 9 Brittany Ln, Barrington, NH 03825 +1 603-948-1015, or you can order directly from the manufacturers website. It is pretty much a simple plug and play, you just need to change one setting on the unit so it reads the card instead of the pre-loaded street maps. @@fishinfinatics2702 That's how I found out about the JDCustoms plate. Both of your sleds are what I hope mine grows up to be.
Very nice setup. I suggest maybe one of those rock lights in the box to light up inside. See you on the ice.
