The fuel and oil efficiency of the 600R cannot be overstated. Ya, it won't lift the skis at 70mph like an 8fiddy, but it's unbelievable bang for the buck
Great review! Ski-Doo offers accessory shock upgrade packages, or shock shops have aftermarket options if you decide you would like upgrade at some point. I have seen new take-offs or good used options from the aftermarket performance and shock shops or on various for sale groups on the interwebs.
Wait till next fall find one of these as a leftover and boom you are getting a great 600R mxz for i bet close to 10grand, a few years ago I bought a 2019 mxz blizzard 850 for 11,900 it was a leftover and actually it was march of 2020 and the 2021s were already being spring ordered...
I think its great idea to give the entree level sleds more attention. Lets face it sleds have gotten so expensive but lot of technology today compared to 10-20 years ago. Not everyone wants or needs the craziest shocks with tons of adjustments that most people don’t use lol!! Im so sick of hearing $20,000 for a new snowmobile. Ya id u want to top dog ur going to pay that. But lot of left overs out there saw a 2024 arctic car riot 8000 at my dealer for just under $13000. Lot of sled for the money today or even 30 years ago. People forget the 92 Vmax 4 was $13,500 lol!!
@snowtrax Yes, I agree. Also the Rengades without the new front end. I see Ski Doo is selling a kit to put the new A arms and spindles on non current models.
Please touch on your next "entry" level video if "rack" steering is a game breaker...? And skidoo is confusing all of us with adrenaline (standard?), adrenaline blizzard, x, xrs (rack) and who knows if the adrenaline Backcountry is rack or not? I purchased a 24 bc x mostly for the rack steering but there's some great pricing on the adrenaline packages.. 😊
@snowtrax maybe this helps, is the "rack" steering system so valuable that moving to the blizzard, x, xrs necessary? Does it make that much difference? I need an AJ opinion. (Naming isn't that hard to figure out.)
This sled suits 95% of all trail riders based on how 99.9% of them ride, but their insecurities make them buy sleds they don't even use to their max capabilities.
@@snowtrax Skidoo online lists the mxz adrenaline at $15799 its really $16934 with transportation and prep that is the "base model" with zero options, you then have to pay tax and get financing. unless you have 20k lying around. Lets do some math 16934.00 + 15 percent tax = $2540.10 before financing. I can buy 10 decent used sleds for that that are faster and have better shocks.
@@andrewc9234 prep + tax = over20k without financing added in and that is for the base model with zero options. My 03 short track will kill this thing on the trail.
My mid 90's polaris 488 i got for free, just cleaned the carbs and tank.. now that's entry level. 😂
Absolutely amazing to think how good this sled is as “entry level” compared to the good ol’ days when the MxZ583 was the hot ticket
Love mine, just picked it up! Only difference is its a 137 and all black. Can’t wait for the snow.
I have the Backcountry Adrenaline 600R. Best bang for the $$$. Love it!

Great info video AJ...
Thank you!!

Nice review so the 600 comparison is coming soon
Nice sled
When doing ride reviews talking about clutch engagement is helpful.
Noted!
Awesome!

Good review. I just picked up mine with the Blizzard package in a 137. Still wondering about the skis. Going to put navigators and mavericks on it.
Skis are the only shortcoming of that Blizzard package.

The new naming is confusing. We'll work harder to clarify that for you.

What's the horsepower?
125
25 😂
Probably 115 at best
My last new sled was a 2002 Arctic Cat ZR800. I loved that sled and the way it looked. These newer sleds are just so ugly to me.
Entry? It’s like 13k
Its $16934.00 Canadian plus HST, not sure how this is entry level. I will keep riding my 2003 800 MXZX that has rebuildable shocks and more hp.
no they arent, this exact sled MSRP's at 16,149 cdn
Incorrect. Price is listed in the description for reference.

On todays market that just looks boring 😂
What a ugly looking sled
All in the eye of the beholder. On snow it looks great!
