  • After reading the entire HEEBIE JEEBIES series, it's now time to rank every book in this 10-book series! This is a Christian spooky mystery story for younger middle grade readers in the style of R. L. Stine's Goosebumps!

📖 ABOUT ME: I'm an Author, Pastor to Kids, and Book Reader! I love to read mostly middle grade fantasy, sci-fi, and Christian fiction as well as non-fiction books on writing, Children's Ministry, and creativity. I can often be found reading a good book and talking about them to anyone who will listen. I especially love re-exploring the Christian fiction books that formed my generation!

Thanks! I know! I had never heard of these until I randomly found one in a bookstore last year and was like: wait a minute... what are these?!

It's such a shame the bigfoot book wasn't better. Still impressive how many of them you overall enjoyed!

They are definitely better written than the SpineChiller's Mysteries series by Fred E. Katz, and yes, I'm still bummed about the Bigfoot book!!

Terror Cove art smells like Lovecraft, which can't be on approved Christian reading lists.

Lol! I could DEFINITELY see a Lovecraftian influence on that cover art! What's so wild is those creatures don't even show up in the book at all. But I think the influence could still be there based on the cosmic sci-fi elements in the book that are definitely played up. I know the author is widely read, so I wouldn't be surprised if Cthulhu had an influence on what is going on in the storyline!
