I am am a really big fan of your style of art I just wondering what are the colors that you use to do shading I always try different shades of grey and the always come out weird it will be great if you could tell me the color number so I can't use them

what kind of paper are you using brother?
I know you're getting a lot of questions about the paper....I saw your reply stating the brand and type of paper. I am in the US and trying to find something similar but all of the reviews I am finding are saying its like drawing on a paper bag and doesn't take ink well (bleeding). Obviously this does not seem to be an issue with what you are using. Are your pages coated or are they thick almost like card stock?

thank you. no worries it's a white prismacolor pencil. they are very good and come out bold on most paper types

Hey man,. Just wondering, that white pencil is awesome, but I'm doing my drawings in a plain white sketch pad. I'm also from the UK, are you able to share which kind of sketch pad you use and where it's available? Been in to the two art supply stores near me and for some reason they only stock white paper pads. Also the pencil, did you say it was prisma colour? Is there a certain type? I've never seen my white come out that bright.

cheers dude. no prob the paper I use is seawhite of brighton kraft paper. it's not expensive can get them on amazon, hobbycraft, cass art etc. yup prismacolor premier is the ones I use, they're soft and waxy so they are solid on any type of paper. very good on bristol board aswell
Nice one. Been trying to work on my drawing to hopefully build up a portfolio to see if I can get myself an apprenticeship. Any advice in regards to that side of things? Should I just keep drawing whatever crosses my mind and keep doing tutorials until I'm comfy or shall I try to develop into a certain style? Will check amazon for that paper, my Cass Art doesn't seem to stock any kraft paper, or at least they had no clue what I was on about when I asked. Appreciate the responses.

thanks. this is just basic tan kraft paper. the brand for this book is seawhite of brighton but you'll find books like this tend to all be the same.

the white pencil it is pastel?
it's a prismacolor pencil, they are different to standard pencils as they are waxy and come out solid on any paper. well worth using
