Thank you @dronemanyt for yet another informative video. It saddens me to realise a fact that any transport construction coming towards Mumbai slows down their construction speed. Being hilly is one things but I felt land aquisition and local intrusions are far more here.
The thing have been same for Samruddhi Mahamarg, Delhi Mumbai expressway, Bullet train, roads outisude Mumbai. Even New Mumbai airport took 2+ decades to start construction.

Thanks droneman for updating real picture in a nutshell we assume that the entire Delhi Mumbai expressway will be operational by dec 2026.

The entire expressway will be accessible end to end only after 2027 because the work progress is ALWAYS CLOSE TO 0 in the Maharashtra section. And looking at the way the companies have worked, the time of full length accessibility of the expressway might also go ahead to 2029
The maharashtra section isn’t entirely the issue. It’s the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat section that is causing the delay and where the progress is not even 10%.

We all were under the impressions that only the work in Maharashtra is lagging behind because of political reasons interfering in land acquisitions in past few years.
However, in this video (where Gujarat starts) and in Package 9 where a lot of Gujarat footage is shown,progress is looking minimal or nil.
Wondering if there was no political interference in Gujarat then why Package 9 and part of Package 10 is having land acquisition issues???
Some people will hate you for showing reality but you continue your good work!☺

Yesterday I visited amne interchange, I think it’s crossover interchange between Delhi-Nagpur-JNPT without entry or exit.
They may provide entry/exit on Mumbai nashik road.
Second I visited the bridge where accident happened on 1 august 2023,
They have completed building new pillar and I hope launching of box girders may start soon.

By this speed of work it will take 2 years to complete
I recently travelled on the Vadodara Bharuch section the the DME and to my surprise the riding quality is extremely poor. The car never feels stable above the 100KPH mark. Samruddhi expressway has a significantly better ride quality. I hope govt also focuses on making the ride smooth like german autobahns. The connectivity and convenience is good but it is not very comfortable.

Because of ego clashes Delhi Mumbai Expressway, WDFC, bullet train, all Mumbai metro projects have been delayed. Both BJP and shivsena should be fined Rs 10k crores for this

packages 8,9, and 10 should be given to L&T or J Kumar, package 1 is a great example of how fast it has completed. And maybe then the entire expressway will be completed by the end of 2025.

Maharashtra, worst of all states. Having highest revenue collection however has the slowest development rate. All major projects are pending.
This project is not very useful for maharashtra...it doesn't make much difference. We need connectivity within maharashtra...especially train. It doesn't even go to Mumbai instead virar.
