- Mumbai Pune Expressway’s 13.3 km ‘Missing Link’ project by MSRDC is an under construction 8 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment connecting Khopoli to Kusgaon.
The link with a string of viaducts, tunnels and bridges aims to bypass Khandala Ghat’s hairpin turns which are prone to landslides, reduce distance by 6 km, reduce travel time by 25 minutes, and provide a straighter route.
The project was approved for construction by Mahashtra Government’s Cabinet on June 13, 2017, and has a current deadline of March 2025.

Just a suggestion. Try to change the audio decibel levels while editing so that they match with the B-roll shots and the voice over. In this video the intro was a bit too loud while listening on the headphones and the voice over and the rest of the video was a little bit on the quiet side. This is what I felt while watching. Editing is just top notch. I am also trying to take cinematic shots as you on my Air 2s and I learn a lot from you. Thank you so much for putting out such a great content!! Keep up the good work!

Since I work on site at the missing link, I would like to share with you a news that is just in.
The 8.9 km long tunnel will not only be Asia’s widest, but the world’s widest tunnel upon its opening!

We need some fast connection between Mumbai -pune in some High speed connectivity like bullet train or some things because road widening is not a solution of any road which creates induce demand problem which we see in the usa , we need japanese approach where expressway are 4/6 lane but heavily toll and bullet train and other are viable options . Else we see broad 10/12 lane highway everywhere 😂

@@atharvar6010 i am not against expressway because in India first stage is really necessary, first india have to connect it's 5lakh+ population centre with expressway atleast 4 lane but it is not a solution that what I am saying , government should start work on hot corridor like Mumbai - Pune , delhi - jaipur, delhi - Agra, Bengaluru - Chennai, Hyderabad - vizag, etc corridor on priority phase because it's required min 5+ years to build so even we started yet then we can see that on 2030 .

@@topicone1417For this to happen we need stable state govt. UBT had completely stalled the Bullet train project. It’s only after new govt came to power in 2022 that Maharashtra is seeing some traction back in bullet train p.
I am happy that all the regions of Maharashtra- Vidarbha, Marathwada, Konkan & MPN triangle (Mumbai Pune Nashik), RoM are developing fast...❤❤
And western maharashtra people are protesting to stop Nagpur Goa Shaktipeeth expressway for their political leaders career.

There is a huge need of creating awareness why these projects took so much time to start?
Why previous governments didn’t work more on building assets like Highways?
Why are a lot people / groups opposing these projects?
Why wasn’t the CAPEX so high from the past governments?
How has this delay affected us and our economy?
How our economy would have boomed if these projects would have completed way 10 years ago ?
What if the other future governments fail or oppose these projects?
How on an individual level delay on these projects will affect the beneficiaries ?
