🎉 you’re the man, Josh. Lol you’re right up there with David Goggins for me as far as people I look up to and are changing my life without being there physically.
Hey josh. Currently have prior experience with working at call centers and experience with many different systems . Always been on the phones. Very interested on the other side of things like IT. Does that prior experience benefit me if I complete the course and add to my resume for new employers ?
I’ve been helping friends and family with it support since I was a kid and I didn’t even know it so I don’t really have on the job experience but i know exactly what I’m going to learn… plus more. What do I do? I did the tech sales course but idk tbh I job hopped throughout my 20s because it seems like there’s no right way to do things so I’m confused and have not found a job in tech sales. I still have my resume on the site. I’m thinking of doing another coursecareers course soon. What do you think? Any advice from the comments?
Having a full time job, if I do course careers what’s the daily schedule like, which I would assume it’s some sort of daily schedule with it being an 8 Week course ?????
Would this program be enough knowledge to land an entry level IT job? Or would you also recommend to take the program while completing the comptia A+ with it to get a job.
@@GanNing221 ? There's really no need to skip the A+. They aren't comparable. It's a recognized cert, even if it won't get you the job. Plus you can study and pass it in like three weeks. I've even seen shorter. In comparison to CCNA which will literally take years.
Hello sir. I have been following your TH-cam page for a while. I finally enrolled in WGU. It's more challenging than I thought it would be. I want to work in cybersecurity. After my first 6 months, I am thinking about enrolling in course careers to get a job in IT, then finish at WGU. What are your thoughts?
$600 for a new cert most employers don’t even find credible. Not saying that course career is full of shit but you have to know some recruiters. Or be one of the chosen few (that was selected to market this product) to make it pass the help desk. 7 months later still no job
I honestly need to look into the course more. I know coursecareers is highly results driven and they are not likely to release something that doesn't work if implemented properly, but I need to review it. Check out this video and think about SWE when watching it: th-cam.com/video/N-pskzV_WQk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=21iD5rCPY0T2SWvJ
I haven't looked into it too much yet, but usually CourseCareers won't bring a program onto their platform unless it's getting results already. So it's /PROBABLY/ good.
Hey Josh. I’m a CC graduate in tech sales and I’m looking to pivot over to IT but my question is, 1. do you require a specific OS? I currently have a Mac 2. Is this a pathway towards a certain field in the IT? I’m looking to wanting to become a network engineer and was wondering if your course sets me up there.
in the CC class you use a VM(virtual machine ). with this course he actually has material with helpdesk and also you will learn and be prepped for network admin and system admin as well
I might try to figure out how to do business online and start something on your own. (Web Development Agency, TH-cam Automation, etc.) vs trying to work for some american company. Just my 2c tho
Hey! I actually just recorded a video about this. Here is the raw, unedited version: drive.google.com/file/d/1ieRcvZkC2n8_YHBD25szoCsQmK2o5rqF/view?usp=sharing Short answer: I don't like AWS Long answer: I don't like AWS because they are dumb and have bad/cringe company culture. I also had a bad time interviewing there once. Can't wait until Azure completely overtakes them.
@@JoshMadakor thanks man. Been watching your videos a lot lately!! I'm new to IT and been struggling to decide which path to take. In the past a family friend kept suggesting CCNA but I've heard it's no longer as in demand as it once was. Lately I've been looking into cybersecurity. Like getting the sec+ and then cysa+ but since I have no prior IT knowledge, I'm thinking I should start with net+. Right now I have very limited time and money and looking for the cheapest and fastest route. Been thinking of doing the Google IT support professional certificate path but can't decide between that and the Google cybersecurity one. Good thing about Google is its only $49 and takes about a month. I don't have $500 lying around!
Sorry about that. The affiliate/referral component of it is optional and I don't really talk about it because I want to avoid people seeing my course like this. :\
I’m curious as to why only women have made reviews of this and and extremely courteous as to if they’ve actually landed employment with this CERTIFICATE as a substantial factor. I’ve heard this language from the same faces for over 20 years and am seeing some patterns I dare not say “resonate” it’s an over exaggeration of “confidence”
Course careers is a multilevel marketing scheme (AKA a pyramid scheme). Each graduate gets a kickback when they give out their affiliate link and get people to sign up.
By definition, this isn't MLM/pyramid, this is standard affiliate marketing, and is done literally EVERYWHERE, including Amazon. Hope this makes sense :)
@@JoshMadakor Here’s how a pyramid scheme, including CourseCareers works: Initial recruitment: The person at the top recruits others to join the scheme and invest money. (AKA YOU) New members pay to join: These new members then recruit others to join, and their recruits pay fees or “investments” to the higher-ups in the pyramid. (Tuition for the class that doesn't help people get jobs bc it's a non-accredited course). Redistribution of funds: The money paid by the new members funnels up the pyramid to the higher-ranking members. Continued expansion required: For everyone to make money, there must always be new recruits. Once recruitment slows down, the pyramid collapses, and nearly everyone loses their investment. Only those at the top may turn a profit. (We only give coursecareers value because they give you a kickback, not because it's actually a valuable course to graduates).

Hey Josh. Do you recommend a certain type of laptop? I'm having issues with the virtual machine lab.
Hello,
Do you recommend going into IT like help desk for starters before cybersecurity?
As a recent IT CourseCareers graduate, I recommend the IT course as well, especially if you want to break into tech.
Have you gotten in yet
Have you started working?

Oh wow I just finished the tech sales course and I’m thinking of learning Azure, might do this too!
How did the course go?
Good morning looking forward to doing the IT bootcamp.
It's his course, like he's gonna say "no, no, it really sucks"!
Lol, it's like asking the winning team, "did you guys believe you would win?"
lmao. me and my social media manager were laughing about this yesterday. "Actually i don't really recommend it" haha
lmao, very positive. I hope I'm the winning team

Josh to do the course, do you recommend a certain laptop and software to start the tech course?
@joshmadakor can you answer this please

Skip the A+, go straight to CCNA.

How does the payment plan work is it $150 per week or month and whaat if you don’t have the payment for the second week will they kick you out
Can you do IT jobs remote? I’m in tech sales but I’m tired of phones and quota 😂
Yes. There are many IT jobs you can do remotely. It depends on your employer if they will allow you to do you job remotely.
I am from Pakistan should I enroll for IT and maybe look for a remote job in North America or that's just wishful thinking?
