Hey #SoDazzling Fam! This video was recorded about two weeks before my last two videos (the ones about Shedavi) but I wanted to be sure that I showed you all what I used for my latest Ayurvedic hair treatment. In this video I'm telling you all about ziziphus or zizyphus, spelling depends on who you ask, and it's wonderful benefits. Some people claim that cleansing their hair with ziziphus leads to stronger, thicker hair.
Watch this video to see if it held true for me!
To make the ziziphus cleanser I used 1/4 cup ziziphus powder that I purchased from Henna Sooq and mixed it with about 1 cup of warm-hot water. I then let the mixture sit for about 1 hour and 20 minutes before applying it to my hair.
Have you ever used ziziphus before? How did you like it? Do you use other Ayurvedic herbs in your routine? If so, which ones?

I used Zisiphus for the first time yesterday but I followed the directions of a Henna Sooq video for cleansing and moisture. She used Cassia, Amla, Aloe and Zisiphus only as an optional addition. The mixture didn't have the slip that I've seen in other videos, there were no bubbles and I believe I made it too thick. After letting it sit for awhile I left it in my hair with a plastic capfor about 45 minutes and rinsed it out. My usually thin locs looks fuller but it's slightly dry so next time I'm going to use the zisiphus alone like you. Thank you! 🌺

I have never heard of this treatment! Your hair looked very moisturized after using it. And it did look like it detangled very easily. Thanks for sharing this! I will have to try it out!

It felt so good on my hair. I think next time I'll detangle beforehand just to make the process go a little faster but nonetheless, it worked great! Thank you so much for watching Kita ❤️
