About 95% of the pink Cadillacs were Mary Kay cars, and most of them were SUVs. The wife of the pastor of the church where the funeral services were held has a successful Mary Kay franchise so it wasn't that hard for her to organize all of the Caddys. There were a handful of late '50s and early '60s cars, one of them already a bit ofa tribute to Aretha, and a few modern sedans, but the vast majority were Mary Kay Escalades, SRVs, and CT5s. I suppose they're practical for carrying samples.
this just goes to show men,,,, women really got their shit together compared to men.. unity wise.. if that was a funeral procession for a well known man,,, i guarantee fuckin tee you,, it would have turned into a rim contest followed by loudest stereo and there would have been sooooooo many knuckle heads tryn to be in it even though their not driving the car that was supposed to be driving.. BMW’s,, Tahoe’s,, F150’s,, etc etc..
That's was just great to see a honor as such pink caddies for my auntie ReRe!!!!!!!!

This was awesome! Gave me goosebumps. I'm sure Aretha saw this and smiled, maybe even danced! ;-)

Say what you want about DETROIT BUT NO WHERE ELSE COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED!!!!! SHOUT OUT TO THE BIG D FROM THE VILLE (LOUISVILLE KY)
Pink makes Cadillac's looks goofy. It suits a ford focus much better. Ricer vibe innit
