⁠@@Ianluciano907It really shouldn't because the gameboy would start the game in gameboy color mode because of the missing notches of the cartridge. Meaning the cpu designated for playing color games is trying to play a gba game, which just doesn't work. You could manipulate the cartridge even more and add these notches but at that point you basically just added more length to your cartridge.

@@Slyfa187 The frankencartridge's electronic components are entirely that of the GBA cartridge; the notches you're talking about are an electronic component, so they would be that of the GBA cartridge.
