Erin Meany My mini gelding shows very well...but when we’re standing still in that nice soft arena footing, the angels sing and he knows that it’s time to roll! 😂 Especially when we’re in the lineup for the driving class. I’m trying to look proper while the judge is inspecting the horses and my little guy is doing the ‘gotta roll dance!!’
The ribbon part for real 😂🎀 Last dressage show I was at, my mare - who mind you has had many a ribbon put on her face over the years - when I went to put our reserve ribbon on for a quick photo op, completely flipped the heck out, backed up about fifty yards across the parking area into someone else's trailer and horses tied on it. And didn't stop backing up until I was able to run up and wrench the demonic ribbon from her bridle 😂 🤦♀️ Luckily for me the girls with the trailer laughed at my apology and said, "oh, it's okay, we have thoroughbreds, we understand" 🙈🐎
My gelding isn’t shy about peeing. He’s peed at the in gate at a show, and also in a line up getting feedback from a judge. I had someone tell me he was being hot because he had to pee and I just laughed at them 😂
You guys gotta do this ! My horse was being soooo lovie dovey to me.... being so cute and nice leaning his head on my shoulder..... THEN BIT ME ON THE SHOULDER !! I still love him though !! 💕🐴
You forgot all the fits of excitement after a good jump. You know, with the bucking and dancing and insane amounts of gas while you try to get them to focus on the next obstacle? 😂
You should do a if horses were people moving yards, so travelling, meeting new horses, having new people around. Love your videos and this series is the best!!
Years ago, this is exactly what happened with my Oldenburg mare, with my trainer riding -- the judge put the ribbon in her browband, and my mare did about 20 spins -- my trainer stayed on -- I will remember this always!
Can someone else relate to trying to take a selfie with your horse. Perfect position, cute angle, eyes perfectly on the camera and then he just yawns straight in your face like his life depends on it? Anybody? 😂
I own a lovely white mare. She performs extremely well and eagerly, and she is very nice to look at. And she farts like a trombone, and with comedic timing. XD
at one of my shows i was in a line up and the judge was right in front of me and my horses best friend was in the back and they started calling out to eachother and i the judge couldn't stop laughing
I'd stable my horse and put the saddle and bridle on the rail of the stall. I'd go away for a few minutes to do something, then come back and find they were on the ground and the saddle blanket would have chew marks on it (so it didn't just fall!) My baby was trying to put her own saddle on!
