I had to stop listening to This Past Weekend for a little while because Theo really understand what it’s like to struggle with mental illness, I struggle badly. I appreciate Theo because he acknowledges it and makes me literally cry in the first 5 minutes of this episode. The light will win, the light will win.

Pusfilth I am 30. It was fun in my early 20’s but I couldn’t go out without buying a bag of coke. Alcohol and I don’t mix. I firmly believe there are two types of people, those who can handle their drinks and no when to say enough and those like me who will get drunk the night before a big interview. I’m just grateful to be sober today because drinking and drugs stopped becoming fun.

I remember that lonely feeling too. It is hard and you tend to overfill your life with things to do to avoid that feeling. Now we have social media also filling up time. But that feeling can only be filled temporarily with these sorts of things. Some people are married with children and still feel completely alone. But for me that was the opposite thankfully. Having said that, Theo if you don't have a dog I would suggest you get one. Unconditional love is a rare and beautiful thing and dogs are very healing.
