I look up to how comfortable theo von is being open and honest with himself. About 2 months ago me and my girl split and the first things I searched for was some advice from Jordan peterson and hearing theo speak on the podcast about depression and the biggest thing i took from that was when he said time heals everything. I kept remembering that and I wish he could know that him talking about his feelings helped me navigate through my own, and thats just me, who knows how many young men he's helped with his ability to talk about his feelings. I have DAILY issues and succumb to them weekly. Feeling like you have no one to talk to makes it worse. So when you hear there are others that feel the same, doesn't make you feel as bad. I've literally never clicked on a new podcast episode faster than this one, specifically because of Riley. Their dynamic is hilarious and Theo's responses to his lackluster commentary is fucking gold. Just because it's not the chemistry we're used to seeing on pods doesn't mean it's trash. It's super unique and could spawn a lot more unlikely tandems in the future. Also, Theo said at one point around the one hour mark that Riley will be back next week. Not sure how so many people are questioning if he'll return or not.
I find it so hard watching this and knowing he doesn't seem to understand how loved and admired he is. Just having the balls to speak so openly makes him so much stronger than the majority of us. Gang gang theo, you are loved and appreciated
I've been feeling exactly the same recently Theo. Sometimes I feel bad and guilty for "feeling bad", struggle to feel connected to myself and others and struggle to open up during these times. You don't want to feel a burden. It's hard. Edit: La Guardia to Newark? Omg lol that's relapse inducing right there. Also give yourself a break - it's hard dealing with all this Covid BS. I damn near had a meltdown yesterday because some books I ordered from the library came in and I couldn't collect them for a WEEK because currently they are QUARANTINING THE BOOKS that come into the LIBRARY. I told the librarian on the phone that this was insanity and people need to start questioning the rules. It was like talking to a robot. Ruined my whole day. This is the level of BS we're dealing with where I am.
I think someone living their dreams and still having issues only proves that they’re human and that mental health is always important no matter your status. Just shows Theo is still one of us.

This episode rang so true with me. My mom was very similar. I've also dealt with lots of anger issues because of it. Feeling short-changed as a child, it makes you angry. It's ok. It will be ok Theo! I have DAILY issues and succumb to them weekly. Feeling like you have no one to talk to makes it worse. So when you hear there are others that feel the same, doesn't make you feel as bad. Just Google it. I've literally never clicked on a new podcast episode faster than this one, specifically because of Riley. Their dynamic is hilarious and Theo's responses to his lackluster commentary is fucking gold. Just because it's not the chemistry we're used to seeing on pods doesn't mean it's trash. It's super unique and could spawn a lot more unlikely tandems in the future. Also, Theo said at one point around the one hour mark that Riley will be back next week. Not sure how so many people are questioning if he'll return or not.
I find it so hard watching this and knowing he doesn't seem to understand how loved and admired he is. Just having the balls to speak so openly makes him so much stronger than the majority of us. Gang gang theo, you are loved and appreciated

I've been feeling exactly the same recently Theo. Sometimes I feel bad and guilty for "feeling bad", struggle to feel connected to myself and others and struggle to open up during these times. You don't want to feel a burden. It's hard. Edit: La Guardia to Newark? Omg lol that's relapse inducing right there. Also give yourself a break - it's hard dealing with all this Covid BS. I damn near had a meltdown yesterday because some books I ordered from the library came in and I couldn't collect them for a WEEK because currently they are QUARANTINING THE BOOKS that come into the LIBRARY. I told the librarian on the phone that this was insanity and people need to start questioning the rules. It was like talking to a robot. Ruined my whole day. This is the level of BS we're dealing with where I am.

This episode alone was an act of service, being vulnerable enough to express your feelings and inner demons gives people comfort and courage to confront their own. I love how you show the importance of acknowledging and allowing yourself to FEEL what is truly going on within you, no matter how uncomfortable or scary it may be.
