I_Is_Burrito Different music styles. Mario Galaxy’s music is more grand and epic overall (no pun intended) while Epic Mickey’s is depressing and creepy. Epic Mickey’s music fits the game’s scenario just as much, if not more, than Galaxy and Undertale’s music imo.
I love how Disney is awesome at making dark games! Sadly they only Made 1 good game (second one wasn’t too bad, but too short and less dark unfortunately)
Disney shut down the project because they didn’t make much money from the second game, so they thought that would continue for the rest of the games and stopped the whole thing. They could’ve at least made a third that listened to what people had to say on how to make it better.
I believe the music is inspired by the phantom manor attraction in Paris. I just watched a documentary of it and switched to this song, heard the theme instantly.
The Epic Mickey depiction of Lonesome Manor is honestly really cool. On the outside, it looks like a bunch of different houses with Dark architectural styles mashed together to form on big mansion. Each part of Lonesome Manor is based off a real world equivalent of the ride, such as the pillars on the front, the library window, and the roof are all from different versions of the ride all over the world.
To me. EM 2 wasn't meant to be dark. It was a new beginning for waste land after the blot wars. As for the game being too short, it wasn't. its a 9 jour long game and 100%ing it takes longer than 100%ing EM 1.
I don’t think anyone who played this game under the age of 8 wasn’t dreading and or anticipating this part of the game. Always in the back of your head, ya know? The creepy gate contrasts starkly with the bright colors of the other projectors in meanstreet plus the way it seems cracked and almost separated from them truly gives full a foreboding vibe. Always kinda scared me as a kid. Kinda upset I didn’t reach this part of the game until middle school when it lost its magic.
i remember when i first played this level and got super scared during the painting bit, cause i thought that something creepy would pop up or something. ahhh memories!
Same. I was always a little creeper out from that part (the Stretching Room), because of all the eyes of the people in the painting seeming like they were looking at you. The size of the room and the paintings were intimidating as well.
mine too. I haven't played this game in so long. EM2 was not nearly as good a game as the first. I own both on the Wii and if I did go back to one of the games it would be the first one for shure. I just flat out love this game.
CarrotAtHeart I figured out a strategy that works in like 2 minutes. First get all the bottom pieces correct, without caring for the others. Then go up one and get all the middles. The go up again and get all the tops. The bottom ones won't move if they aren't in the screen so it's guaranteed to work
@skellington15 I know. But I can hear bits of the ride in it too. There are 5 different Haunted Mansion's around the world, each one is different and I can here bit from each one.
Whatever you think of Epic Mickey, you gotta admit that it has some of the most atmospheric music ever used in a video game.
James Dooley is truly god
One of the best video game music and music creativity.
But Mario Galaxy and Undertale can barely out do it

Yeah, I was dissatisfied with the sequel, although the Floatyard was incredible!
@@Artemis-os7hn oh yeah
I love both games, but I wish the second one was longer though. We never even got to visit Tomorrow City in the sequel (no, Autotopia does not count).

Which game?🤔
Epic Mickey is probably one of the saddest Disney games I've ever played...
DeathRocket4990 how
theguyintheworks he's talking bout the thinner route
and horror
Agent Sushi005 yes
DeathRocket4990
But when it comes to twisted Disney, I think this is the game to play, ya got to amet.
I believe the music is inspired by the phantom manor attraction in Paris. I just watched a documentary of it and switched to this song, heard the theme instantly.
Yes, you have right!
really? i didn't hear it
I have to agree. the music box segments particularly remind me of Phantom Manor. Good call!
i think every part of epic mickey is inspired by some disney show or attraction. like the clock tower or sweepers.

The transition from main theme to battle theme was smooth as hell and I LOVE it.
I thought I was the only one who liked that! Me too!
It's a mash-up of fear, beauty, and action.

@@Ronan117 Y’all younger than me are way more hardened to scary stuff than I was.
My friend and I are writing a story together. This is the perfect theme for it.
How'd it go?
Is it out yet?

I recomend, its one of the funniest and most amusing rides you will ever have
The Lonesome Manor music took fear and added elements of action and beauty.

Knight of Creation, I didn't get nightmares but it sure creeped me out thats why i love this game cuz its like a twisted disney world

This music amazes me... unless it gets stuck in my head...
Epic Mickey is getting a remaster for switch LETS GOOOO
Painting puzzle wasn't hard, it just took forever @.@

I messed up that part when I was playing the game for the first time. I learned the second time. 😂
Listen..you can hear the bride's screams...
When i first play the game when I was five, six the lonesome manor scared me
Ok
IKR?! I did eventually figure it out, but I had no idea what to do the first time XP

1 of my favorite soundtracks
Me too ^^
Same!
same here
I love this theme!! :D Just perfect!!
I don't like that picture mix puzzle part from lonesome manor but that game was my childhood
I love how this video combines both the Paint and Thinner versions at different parts to make a whole new experience
Wow he didn’t add the spider man shattered dimensions soundtrack from 2010……so sad!
@Shadesdeath I can hear that too. Both share a dark feel to the soundtrack; like you're losing your mind.
@skellington15 I think I can hear parts like the Grim Grinning Ghosts, starting at 0:30
The Lonesome Manor music from Epic Mickey is a perfect theme music for a Halloween theme
Love the organ.
The fact that I’m the 666th like on this video 😬
Witchyworld?
ok avalable in ITUNES
2:11
*I want to go back to Ventureland right now*
Anyone else excited for Epic Mickey Rebrushed coming out? I definitely am LETS GOOOOO 😄🥳🎉🙌
0:30 sounds a lot like Davey jones' lullaby from Pirates of the caribbean...
@skellington15 I know. But I can hear bits of the ride in it too. There are 5 different Haunted Mansion's around the world, each one is different and I can here bit from each one.
It also sounds like Davy Jones's theme.
Alfonso ST Yeah I can kinda hear it in there
Whenever I listen to this piece, I always think of a ballroom dance in a haunted house.
Fitting, because of the Pipe Organ in the ballroon and all that.
@skellington15 1:55 is definitely a nod at the ballroom organ
Lonesome manor's battle music is a remake of Glockenspiel's theme
@365ral haha its ok but it creeps my cousin out xD but i think its pretty cool
I have never rode the Haunted Mansion when its not covered in The Nightmare Before Christmas so I have no idea what you guys are talking about :P
@KillerMewGrape Lol, yeah that's a technical flaw in all my EM soundtrack videos ^^ I made this with iMovie
@skellington15 really? I could hear the influence right as it started?
still waiting for a remake
@vanshma I thought exactly the same. And there's a picture of the Flying Dutchman in a room.
@365ral haha its ok but it creeps my cousin out xD
@mrgameandpie Exactly like Witchyworld!
That's actually supposed to sound like the Haunted Mansion theme.
The game is remaster! :D
in my case I couldnt wait to go there, and i loved that stage =D
This is honestly better than any version of Mad Monster Mansion from BK.
Even as a big fan of BK I agree with you! Playing this over MMM makes it a whole lot better and hectic!

Shame Junction Point went bankrupt. We could've gotten a conclusion to this epic series, pun entirely intended...
I remember when I first arrived here and thought, "I remember visiting you in Paris on Halloween!"
The Lonesome Manor is and will always be my favorite part of the game
I love epic Mickey
