That whole experience with Kanye really brought her to her lowest point personally and professionally. When she finally rose from the ashes, she took ALL of her power back. She didn't just change the fame game, she ripped the whole thing off its axis. The media, the music industry, all of it - while remaining true to herself, her art and her fans. She is an unstoppable force of nature. Reputation was the birth of Mother.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE savage, petty, angry Taylor. She is SO good at lyrics that cut deep, so these types of songs are just epic 🔥🔥🔥
The Eras tour show is 3+ hours of her on stage. She trained for the show by running on a treadmill singing the fast songs and walking while singing the slow songs in the months before the tour started. 3 hours on the treadmill singing!!

She trained for this tour by running on the treadmill while singing the entire (44 song) set… EVERY DAY for 3 months. The show is 3 hours long. If she takes any breaks it’s for about 30 seconds to change outfits between eras.

People say she only sings about heartbreak and her exes, but really she sings about everything. Her discography is her diary, which I don’t think we’ve gotten that from a musician ever.
I read that she sings full out while she’s on the treadmill to get her core and breathing up to par for her tours. That’s some serious dedication!!

She was selling out stadiums and was the youngest winner of album of the year Grammy before all that crap from K (and this song is from Reputation, which won zero Grammys). She just has a rule: "My response to anything that happens, good or bad, is to keep making things. Keep making art.” So K had nothing to do with any success she has ever had.
Not only did rep not win any Grammy's, it wasn't even nominated which is an absolute travesty.
The tour she sings for 3 and 1/2 hours and it was the best night of my entire fucking life❤❤❤❤

I don't think that anyone who appreciates Taylor would be upset by your observation that pressure breeds diamonds. It's facts. OTOH, seeing someone take some pretty big blows and respond by finding her center while finetuning her artistry with such engaging intelligence, strength, and humor is straight up *GOLDEN*. Seeing that real life arc, as a creative, it's life giving. As a full on conceptual artist, she is a flipping genius. Love that you're digging her!
The eras tour was like a 3.5 hr show. She performed all her songs and there were over 40 some songs.
I love it when Taylor sings to the haters. Each time they try to take her down she comes back better and sings to them, and I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT! IT's like a gift from baby Jesus! And her stamina on stage is Phenomenal!
You HAVE to watch the Look What You Made Me Do performance from the Reputation tour AND the official music video in order to see allllllllllll the Kanye /Kim shade. Also, you have to remember “country Taylor” was when she was a teenager. She’s in her 30s now, a grown woman.
The Eras Tour is a very long show, Taylor performs for 3.5 hours, 44 songs I think in a row with no real breaks just costume changes. In most cities she's doing at least 2 usually 3+ shows in a row. LA she did 6 shows, Singapore I think it's 8 shows? All sold out. The tour started March 17th 2023 and is currently scheduled to go through December 2024. It's amazing! And yes savage Taylor is one of my favorites. Rep TV vault tracks are gonna slay.

Just FYI, it costs T about $750k to put on each show! It's a 44 song setlist in a 3 1/2 hour long show! When she finishes the tour next year she will have done 151 shows! To prepare for this show, Taylor started running on the treadmill going through & singing every single song in the show! (she would apparently slow down the treadmill on slower songs and speed it up on the big songs!) She's a beast & she gives & gives & gives so much to make us happy which in turn makes her happy with her life! No other artist EVER can say that they do as much as she does for her fans!
Literally tho. Who else hand picked and wrapped Christmas presents to personally deliver to their fans? Who else invited fans to their own house(s) for a pre-release listening party AND made food for them? People don't realize how good she really is to us 🥹

reputation wasn't an fu to her record label, like I think that she knew she wanted to leave and sign somewhere else, but at that time it wasn't like in 2018/2019.
Don't Blame Me is better live from the Reputation Tour. It's more “Take me to church” at the end then this version.
