      Thanks! This build was so much fun and it's a quick build. Be careful when you want to put on those small red and white details you can see on my build and in the manual. If you don't clean up the mold lines on those small openings, they break easily while gluing them on.

    Great video and outstanding results. Are you using a normal paint brush to spread your glue?

    • @Kit.Chronicles
      @Kit.Chronicles  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you!
      I do use a normal brush in some cases. That's a cheap synthetic brush. It's perfect for areas where I need more glue than the Tamiya brush can hold. For small details I stick to the Tamiya brush.
      Since plastic glue is solvent based the bristels also dont stick together so that brush is usable for a long time.

      @@TonyKelly-p7x Thanks! Sadly, there isn't a video about the first one. The overwhelming amount of positive feedback about that diorama was one of the things that convinced me to start this channel.
      Going to upload some high-resolution photos tomorrow so you can take a closer look at that diorama.
      I am already working on the next diorama, and most of the techniques I used for this one will be part of that video as well.

    Great video, but I was worried that you were going to lose parts the way that you were cutting them off the sprues

    • @Kit.Chronicles
      @Kit.Chronicles  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks a lot!
      I guess the Carpet Monster is something every scale modeler fears. Luckily, my workbench is rather large, and my floor makes it easy to find parts that fly off. But I usually use a less dramatic way of cutting parts from the sprue when the camera isn't running. ;)

  • @johnnypenso9574
    @johnnypenso9574 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Question. Does it come with the tracks?

    • @Kit.Chronicles
      @Kit.Chronicles  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does. There are two pieces of track each about 18cm long in those Kit's made my Sabre Models. They look nice and are easy to work with. There are little hooks between the sleepers that you can click together to get a curved track if you want. I used that for the "Kesselwagen".

    Hello. I am thinking of opening a TH-cam channel soon. Your first video reached over 5000 viewers. How did you achieve this? This is a great achievement for your first video. I wonder which other communities did you share your video with besides TH-cam? What did you do to attract viewers from outside?

      Hi! I am really blown away by the view count of my video! I love building models and I started this channel since friends in the modelling community told me that they would like to watch my process while building models.
      I don't really know how the TH-cam algorithm works, but somehow it showed my video to a lot of people.
      Wish you all the best for your channel and hope you will have a lot of success with it!

      @@Kit.Chronicles I can't make a model as good as yours, but I want to try my luck on TH-cam. I'm jealous of your success :) You're very good and I think you should definitely continue on TH-cam and if possible, you should upload a video to TH-cam once a week. The TH-cam algorithm wants one video a week, if you do that, I think you'll progress well. You mentioned a model making community, which community is that? Can I join you?

      Sadly there is no video about the previous diorama I can show to you guys, since the idea to do videos came from all the positive feedback I got regarding that diorama.
      I am already working on the next project and many of the techniques I used for the last project will also play a key part in the next one.
      But I will add a link with high quality photos of the last diorama, so you will be able to take a closer look at all those small details.
