Shame the way DJK got treated at the end of that year. What a great WR. Imagine if C.J. Beathard had McNutt and DJK as his wideouts? Man the Hawkeyes truly would have been dangerous. Probably would have won that Big Ten Championship game in 2015.
We lost vs. Wisconsin because we weren't playing punt safe, and we had terrible clock management. We were unprepared for Arizona, we were outcoached by Northwestern (as usual), and we lost to MINNESOTA! We lost close game after close game in the 4th quarter, and the head coach has to take a good deal of the blame. By-the-way, we had Marcus Coker on the roster who ran for 200 plus yards vs. Missouri. Don't resort to personal attacks, you take credibility away from yourself.
We lost to Wisconsin, because we gave up 31 points, missed an extra point, and fumbled the snap on an easy field goal. We lost to to Arizona because we gave up a punt block, a INT for a TD, and a KO for a TD. Combine that with a Dropped TD pass and a missed extra point. Those are all KF's fault right? It's his fault he drop TD's, and miss extra points?? Please know what you're talking about, youi take credibilitiy away from yourself.
Iowa is a developmental program. They aren’t in a recruiting hotbed and good recruits don’t want to go there. But as long as they have good coaching like they’ve had and find a few gems every cycle, they’ll have a good year every once in a while.

This team went 8-5, and the main reason was bad coaching.
The year before they were 10-2 or 11-1 no?
