I absolutely love this.. I have the same Bible.. The literal only thing I would caution about is making sure that ''Journaling'' and ''making it pretty'' dont become an act of idolitry.. make the act of reading and engaging with the bible, an act of Idolitry.. Taking notes and engaging with it need to be an act of worship.. Ive seen some videos where the journaling and adding in things have sort of made their Bibles an Idol..

I think we have so many idols we are unaware of or can't admit to its double that God will be rebuking too many of us about too much excitement in our life about his word.

I read lots of devotional books and will take pages from them and put them In my Bible or my journal books. Also I do a lot of writing in my bibles and devotional books. I love the idea of the different colour markers. I do that too. I also put dates beside special verses that highlights a occasion. Or a prayer request and when it got answered. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas. May God continue to bless you in your worship time.

I just bought this bible recently. I'm getting ready to install tabs and go from there. I have tons of sticky notes etc. I love paper stuffs lol. I'jm trying so hard to grow spiritually. I struggle with faith (it's been a lifelong struggle) I feel God is refining me somehow by this crisis. I keep reading, studying, and moving forward. I just subscribed to your channel. All the best!

Love seeing how you journaled with this Bible! I use my single-column ESV journaling Bible for home use but I take my She Reads Truth CSB to church cause it's laid out nicely for extra notetaking and has more room for sticky notes and extra paper. Thanks for watching! To be honest, if I was to purchase again I would probably go with the hardcover, when I am closer to the beginning or end of the Bible I wish that I had a harder backing to my page to write on. Hope this helps:)

I’ll attach the link to my Linktree and you can find a free PDF download for it. It prints out small enough to put in a standard size Bible. Just remember when you are feeling overwhelmed, it’s not about doing it right or wrong, it’s all about just being in the Word and growing closer in your relationship to the Lord💛

I have this bible it was my favorite, but sadly my toddler got to it and ripped out some pages 😭

How do you add in pages? I have this Bible but my add in are messing up the other pages.
I use Elmer’s glue and add it to the edge of the page and put it in the seam of the page

I have this Bible, and want to start doing this. I guess I’m always afraid of ruining the spine with so much extra? Is yours way thicker now? How is it holding up? 😊
@@joelsvision it is thicker, I guess over time it will probably need to be rebound. But to me it’s worth taking notes bc that is how I take in the Word and retain better.

I am trying to decide between this Bible and the ESV single column journaling Bible. I am new to taking notes in my Bible. What would you consider as reasons to choose one over the other? Would you please also share your highlighting method? Thank you so much for all you do!
Both Bibles are great but my suggestion for someone new to note taking is the She Reads Truth Bible. It is the best option I believe. It gives you context pages before each book and the space is not too big on the margin so it doesn’t feel overwhelming to note take.! It was my first journaling Bible and I loved it!
