You’re gonna love that 3D printer! You should try making some drift tires with it. I tried that a little while ago, and it was a ton of fun!
I did the same thing with my slash. I hit a crack and broke the 3-d printed wheel clean off. 😂 I will be reprinting a much stronger set.

Kev get a Traxxas bigfoot its a shelf queen but I play with it anyway its 2WD and has a brushed motor and goes around 30 MPH with the battery it comes with or with lipo (only 2 cell lipo) it goes around 35 MPH. And you got me into rc cars and I love this hobby! Keep up the good vids!

Kevin, question for ya. I see the glue? Around the power button. I have the same controller and the power button is a little finicky. What’s the glue for?

I don't know why people even bother with servo savers, you spend £100 on a really beasty servo to lose 40% of it's speed and power in the spring, just use normal horns.

i use just normal caulking for windows and doors forR/C bodies works just as good as shoe goo and is much cheaper and you get much more per tube.

Are servos just motors that control the steering arms or fins on planes?
I’m thinking about getting a slash 4x4 as my first rc, do you think it’s a good idea?
Slash 4x4 is a great truck my buddy bought one after he ordered the wrong wheelie bar (yes he bought a whole truck instead of returning the wrong part) he now has the 4x4 a 2wd and just built a slash/bandit drag car all from one wrong part great trucks fast and stable whole lot of fun hope that helps

@@GreenTheScreen123 the brushless slash comes eqquipped with training mode for that reason. Also my "entry level" truck was an e-revo brushless edition lmao which had no training mode just on amd off
@@johnmcgown9269 thats dead tho I don't wanna spend like 600$ on a rc just to limit myself + you know a noob is going turn that off and in 5 mins pretty much have to spend the equivalent of a new car and a new person to rc won't go stright to a brushless motor rc if that breaks your done for I'm trying to save this man some money and have the same level of fun your out here telling a new person to rc to go and buy one of the most expensive rcs and then he smashing it about and he's in debt trying to fix it

I'm exited for the printer, also I think you should try and make your real monster truck body on this rc so you can see it in skin before you spend thousands on a paint job you might not entirely like.

Hey Kev I have that exact 3D printer, one problem I had was that the hot end fan was either weak or defective because I kept getting clogs after a couple of prints and eventually every print. It drove me insane because I couldn’t figure it out. It’s called heat creep. After I printed out the hero-me gen5 fan ducts with upgraded fans I have never had a problem printing. I also recommend using Cura for the software(free) has way more adjustments and tinkering you can do and easier to use than the creality software.
Can't wait for the monster truck and the 200 mph car!!

1:13 Just had to deal with that shit with my Kraton 6S servo replacement w/ a SAVOX, piece of crap 23T spektrums, that's some apple-level of assholery. Good news is I got the HotRacing horn + link and it looks BADASS!
