One of the downsides of standarising the cards makes so mechanics with cards like wonder lock, ectoplasm and unknowns be forgotten for other alternatives.
You know the video is going to be nutty when the first card talked about *shuffles back benched Pokemon FOR FREE* Edit: Love the use of Castlevania music in this one
Fun fact, the Dusknoir DP33 promo, from what I've seen, was quite good in Japan's 2008 battle rounds format (roughly Fire Red Leaf Green to DP Legends Awakened)
I also think it was worth mentioning the non-holo Dusknoir from Stormfront, which is also a decent attacker in its own right and a great way to force the opponent to deal with Dusknoir due to its annoying PokeBody
Awesome video! Dusknoir is one of my favorite pokémon and I'm working on collecting all its cards, so learning how those cards operated in eras of the game I never got to play was super neat. Keep up the great content!
Glad to see Dusknoir actually doing something instead of just being a means to give Duskull eviolite in the main line games. It's a very cool looking pokemon
Hey just wanted to mention that the video is awesome, but at 25:48 you say that you can activate unfair stamp off of dusknoir, but you cannot because it specifically says when your opponent knocks out a pokemon and not when your pokemon is knocked out. Great video despite that though!
Probably didn't make waves in the competitive side of things, but I remember for the brief period that I played using a deck combining the Sinister Hand Dusknoir with Landorus EX
Dusknoir has the tcg treatment like some others, gardevoir and many Pokémon just get all the love for no apparent reason even if its fan favorite, genesect can be other case like bro he was in plasma as virizion genesect and fusión strike mew and still has some niche cards like shining genesect.
SFA Dusknoir doesn't actually interact with Unfair Stamp since you need to get knocked out by the opponent. The card just happens to be perfect in Charizard, thus the Dusknoir-Stamp pairing. Other than that, great video! The DPP era sure had creative card design
I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him (jokes aside, Dusknoir from DP base and Dusknoir LV X are so sick and I love that era of card design. I miss the DP block)
unfair stamp actually doesn't interact with dusknoir at all as it stipulates a knock out during your opponent's last turn, not prize card count
Damn, you're right. I should start actually reading these cards one of these days
One thing i give the Pokémon tcg credit for is that they have the freedom to make any Pokémon a viable tier threat unlike the games
Something very notable about Dusknoir/Dusclops from shrouded fable is that they got the Evolutionary advantage duskull banned from expanded
Dusknoir LvX is to this day one of my favourite cards. What an amesome effect that they've never come close to recreating. Awesome vid like always!
One of the downsides of standarising the cards makes so mechanics with cards like wonder lock, ectoplasm and unknowns be forgotten for other alternatives.
The biggest legacy of Dusknoir... Was making eviolite works on Dusklops.
Not in the TCG bud 😮

hallowed be thy ween
Great video as always also love the PMD music Dusknoir grips away games like he gripped our skulls in that game
Yo wanted to say ya popped up out of nowhere, but I now binged all of these vids. Keep up the good work!

Love these videos please keep making them!!
dusknoir's one of my favorite pokemon, so seeing a video about how it performs/performed in the TCG is really fascinating!
Glad to see Dusknoir actually doing something instead of just being a means to give Duskull eviolite in the main line games. It's a very cool looking pokemon
Dusknoir is just too sick
Been watching your videos ever since they got recommended to me around this time last year, keep it up and happy halloween!

Yeah I definitely got that wrong, whoops

Probably didn't make waves in the competitive side of things, but I remember for the brief period that I played using a deck combining the Sinister Hand Dusknoir with Landorus EX
I love these videos 🔥🔥🔥
