Do you have to code or program your car if upgrading to higher performance fuel pump ?

No you don't the car will run normal if you just upgrade the fuel pump. I run mhd with jb4 so the more power I add the car gets the needed fuel.

Yes the process should be the same, you're reusing the stock fuel pump hat and float.
