    I use my bag when I scarifiy. I’m not in a rush. When it fills I bend over like I’m doing a Romanian deadlift and empty it as I go on. I Mr Miyagi the project with patience. Also when I’m done theirs no clean up, plus it does a better job at cleaning up in my opinion, than putting that stress on my mower. Then I can jump to aerating , and then over seed right away so it’s actually more productive to me. It also depends on the size of your lawn.

      I feel like the bags that come with these things are so sad and small and fill up way too quickly. I wish they were bigger but I can see how they are still useful. Should do a test to see which is faster running with the bag and just bagging with the mower

      @@treasuredLawn Yes that’s what I always hear. Yes they feel up fast, but I’m alright with that. I’m more philosophical, so I look at it as a patience builder. Plus I like to take my time. I’m not in a hurry. I’m enjoying my yard and the process of it all. At the end of the day we all do what works for us. You do a good job sir. Keep rocking on!

    Just a heads up, I noticed the power rake you had installed upside down so the prongs and cylinder are not level/horizontal. You can see it's angled in the frame. The half moon shape on the bolt side should face up into the housing (there's a recess for it in the bracket). I know this bc I did the same thing...change it and you will be able to set your depth accurately and get more debris and even cutting on the appropriate setting. Hope this helps! Looks great!

      Good looking out! I saw that when I was editing and was curious why it looked like that! Obviously didn’t catch it in the moment! Appreciate you!

    Hey man! Thanks for the shout out and for trying the seed out. The results look great! Trust me it gets darker with time. By fall it should be looking pretty dang dark! Great video man

      Man this seed is great! I can already tell it’s darker but as it matures I know it’s really going to show out even more. My neighbor was shocked too how much darker it is now. Great job getting this seed together man!

      amazing results bro 🔥🔥. Random question for you , what kind of tree is that in your front yard? 🤔👌🏼👀

      @@peupeuguy310 it’s a maple, not exactly sure what type, it was here when we bought the house I have a love hate relationship with it lol

      @@treasuredLawn oh relly? i need some shade bro , my fescue out here is getting torched :-/ what would be the negatives? 👀

    • @treasuredLawn
      @treasuredLawn  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@peupeuguy310 well this one has some surface roots unfortunately so my lawn has a couple areas you can’t see with roots and when I eventually move to reel mowing I’ll need to take care of those somehow. This tree is also massive has to be close to 15-20 years old so when fall comes in out there almost every day collecting leaves or mulching them. Also it will drop its seeds in the lawn and I’ll occasionally find sprouts in the lawn I have to pull out every year. It’s great for the shade because my house does face slightly west so I’m thankful for that and it is a beautiful tree. It’s a love hate for sure lol

      @@treasuredLawn I live in East Tennessee and we’re in that odd transitional zone. I’ve been debating on Perennial Rye or KBG to overseed my existing tall fescue this fall. I reallly want to darken up my lawn and your comment about the Blackout PR was intriguing. I’m just not sure about the clumping that PR is known for.

    • @treasuredLawn
      @treasuredLawn  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      PR doesn’t clump up much in my opinion in fact it tends to be more thin kind of like how my neighbors looked before we laid the new seed down. PR is probably the best to overseed with. KBG will be tough to overseed with just because of the long germination times.
