The actress really struggle to do the accent. The higher ups let the actress drop the accent a few months after this. Storywise I think they try to make out Vicky lost her accent because she had been in the UK for an extended period of time.
When Den lied and said he and Dennis didn't know anything about each other, that was his way of saying all was forgotten from their chat and his chance to prove himself as a son I guess.

Dennis was right to say she had no clue and even when he did she still was pathetic and said he was mean to her, didn't even try to understand what Dennis went through. What was minty's problem with Dennis, what did he do to him 😂 sharon and Vicki were both spoilt, Sharon not understanding den didn't love Dennis like he did her and even though Vicki said her mother preferred her brother mark she still had a lot of love.
