Sarah added lots of style to that teeny studio apartment. I wish the episode had ended with seeing the superintendent’s reaction to the changes.

....That colour palette !! Grown up, classy, lovely ...dare I say ' sexy ' as well (!!??) It is an underutilized palette that exudes a sense of " wow" without being overdone or " too much "in the space . Understated elegance meets form and function. Gorgeous!!

The more I see, the more I want Sarah to have a go at my place. Love the bold color choices. The chair color is a perfect pop, and the brown mohair is so sophisticated. Lindsey is one lucky young woman.

I like the new little kichen the most. The wall paper board is so arty and with the chandelier it looks so sophisticated.
Love all of Sarah's work - my favorites are the cottage renos because I am always working on mine - hoping to find new inspiration plus just wonderful people- so fun.
Love it! Color scheme, seating area with bed, kitchen update, lighting- all beautiful and looks expensive!

Love it. When I have had to work with a dark room I went chocolate because painting it light didn’t make it look larger. The chocolate embraced it. When we sold it was the favorite room. The lookers all said they would never have done it but loved it.
This is super cute. Would it not be nice if all landlords would allow people to be able to design their small apartments!

Tommy is so 😁 funny. And "He's so rich" must be a scene from Pride and Prejudice. Colors remind me of chocolate covered cherries
I thought it was pretty funny that they forgot to get permission to change out the kitchen cabinets, as they were installing the new ones.I think the individual renting should have taken care of that before agreeing to the make over. The team did come up with some good practical ideas and not to expensive.ones at that.
Great reno! Although your average renter wouldn't have the cash or the time to replace the kitchen cabinets!!! Love the stripes on the wall, and the remnant carpeting is great for reducing noise in an apartment. Alas, the videography at the end was like looking through a kaleidoscopic. IMO, the view and the balcony, essential to a small apartment, were overlooked. The drapes were fabulous from what I could see.
I think the experienced decorator should've anticipated that.

This room came out really nice and will probably stand today (12/2021). I was hoping there would be some type of room divider between the front room and bedroom though.

I wish they had shown the view from the front door b/c it appeared as if you walked in - to the bedroom and the 'living room' area was beyond that space.

I'm confused. It's says her tiny NYC flat but I see the CN Tower in TORONTO within the first 5 minutes (3:35 to be exact) and at 4:03 the tattoo sign has a phone number starting with area code 416 which for sure is Toronto. Sooooo, Ummm what???
This is definitely in Toronto! I recognize the area and the LLBO is in Ontario.
I think they were referring to the style as a Tiny NYC flat,because there are alot of bachelor/studio apartments in NYC Another words small with no separate bedroom. Nice to know that Toronto has the same thing.

Although I hate brown furniture, drapes, counter tops, the arrangement and your accent color was great 👍🏽, so was the sofa except for the color.. smart idea about the chair and the not really coffee table

The room is amazing, but I kept wondering if the rest of her house was still stuck in the 80s. That is always the problem with making such an amazing transformation...then the rest of the house just won't do anymore. I guess that might be a great problem to have.

Given that she usually buys more expensive furniture, an $800 couch IS cheap for her lol.
i m sorry but to make the girl work like a horse on her own place is not cool. and to install new cabinets in a rental IS NOT budget friendly and there was a much much cheaper way to upgrade the kitchen. This is very very old show when Sarah was probably just starting out cause the arm chair is too large for the space and kichen could have had additional counter space if planned out right. the place is gorgeous but surely has nothing to do with being budget friendly
