If I could afford it, I’d buy a great old farm house and have Sarah design/remodel every square inch! Her vision and finding the perfect design elements is second to none!
I love the color scheme and all the minor touches Sarah did to make this space so beautiful. TH-cam, at least in the USA, is showing some of the old Room Service shows, and it is neat to see the young Sarah and how her programs have changed over the years. Old Sarah, new Sarah--it's all great.
I remember shedding a few happy tears when I binge-watched the Mountain Escape series, and the Meadow Suite was just an amazing transformation. You never, ever fail to deliver, Sarah!!!! I look forward to finding more jewels on your TH-cam channel. Blessings!!!!
What an amazing transformation and so many creative and beautiful improvements. Ideas I love: water countertops, passthrough from the bedroom to kitchen adding natural light (anything to connect a room to the outdoors in my opinion), the color palette, and the beautiful bathroom with cool metal accents!
Sarah, it's cool, the combination of colors in the interior, to put everything in such a small space, you're just great, thanks for the tours of the interior of the whole house!!!
Last time I saw Sarah was Sarah building her mountain family house with her husband off the grid. Afterwards her show wasn't shown on USA HGTV. I've always thought of her and missed her fabulous designer knowledge. I found her today the last day of January 2024 by googling and have Subscribed to this TH-cam video and will continue to follow her as long as she's designing. 🙋♀️🥰 Blessings to Sarah and her family from El Paso, Texas USA ❤ THANK YOU HGTV!
Soooo gorgeous! I love it all so much! I would love to know the color of the inside of the exterior door...the blue/green color. I would love to get that color in my house! Thanks, Sarah!!
it is beyond beautiful but still makes me feel calm, i would love to live there ! Awesome job as always and i love that wavy wallpaper and all the uses of the cedar and the light colored tiles ❤ i’m even in love the dyed macrame
Thanks so much Virginia!! :-) If you check out the makeover on my website, you'll find a direct link to the macrame piece. www.sarahrichardsondesign.com/get-inspired/makeovers/2023/01/26/sarahs-mountain-escape-meadow-suite-bedroom
@@SarahRichardsonDsgn Thank you so much, not sure I have that much to spare right now unfortunately, so for now…i will just come check out your handiwork and dream and live vicariously through your designs lol. Perhaps I can impress upon my mammy for an early birthday present this year lol
I drove by Lee valley yesterday and thought of you lol and here you are with fabulous brushed nickel geometric handles so great!!! I just want to touch them lol. Anyone can reuse so many ideas from this suite! I bet you will be playing with panelling like this again
Really appreciate how you teach best design practices as you go. Binging on your work, Sarah. You and Rita Konig are real inspirations! Wonder--why no corner shelves in the tiled showers? What do you like for containing all the products in there?
I'm really enjoying these videos on your Chalet makeover. I wish I could watch all of your HGTV Canada series. P.S. I particularly love the shape and color of the front door.
Hey, Sarah!! I'm so glad to see another video. I love all the changes. My home is a RV. I love what you hung where a window would be in a bedroom. I can't think of the name for it but something like that would be perfect above my bed. My mind keeps saying rope but that's not the word I'm trying to think of. Lol Anyway, so great to see another segment and I'll be looking forward to the next one. ❤ Macrame! That's it! I cheated and read the other comments and found the word! 😅
I'm glad I'm not the only one that like gooseneck faucets in the bathroom. Those small faucets are only good for washing hands. If you are in a hurry and want to wash you hair, standard faucets won't do.
Love the unique way you use materials. It was tough to get a fix on where the walls were but I would rather have another foot or two in the main room than in the bathroom second sink. Boy have you changed your opinion on that Sarah!! Can't say I think much of any of the light fixtures in this project. Either they are too utilitarian (which is fine for a rental) or they are just too far out. (again fine for a rental maybe) but overall not useful for those of us looking to use ideas in real homes. As already said the bathroom faucet is a huge miss--water would be splashing everywhere. To each their own I guess, but just saw a video on "25 things that date you home" and number 20 was accent/stripes in tiling. I don't know about dating it but I can see it wearing on you faster.
Enjoyed this reveal on the show and now seeing it again. I'm wondering where you found stock cabinets that don't have the cheaper edge gap around the doors and also in gray vs. white. Please share!
Beautiful transformation. Including a floor plan, before and after, would have been a useful addition, considering this was about "space planning and layout.
@@SarahRichardsonDsgn. Thank you, Sarah. We have HomeGoods stores nearby, and I hadn’t heard of HomeSense, though I just read that they’re related. Guess I’ll be waiting for HomeSense to get to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where I live.
Im surprised your show is still on the air. All your designs are well above the average homeowner . The people who can afford it probably aren’t sitting at home watching a tv designer.
@Bleh I don’t know. Just call me crazy. I don’t want to be in the kitchen and listen to someone vomit or have diarrhea. I guess I am just, in your estimation, unsophisticated that way.

Love the position of the faucets in the bathroom sinks❤
This is lovely. I’m in love with the bathroom especially.
So glad you like it! :-)

Hello, Sarah. I look forward to your new releases every time and I'm happy to review the old ones. Thank You very much! ♥
Another great design, layout, and ideas. You transformed the ugly ducking into a beautiful swan. 🤩
Aww, thank you!! :-)
Nice. A old/new floor plan would be nice to see
Thanks! And good idea. :-)
What an amazing transformation! I just love it 😍

Здравствуйте, Sarah. Я восхищаюсь вами. Много лет являюсь поклонницей вашей работы. Многому научилась у вас. Спасибо.
Thanks for watching! :-)

Wonderfull. I would love you doing a video on smal kid spaces!
great work once again.
I’m really loving the color palette! The bathroom faucets are unique and interesting to me... but does the high arch make for extra splashing?
Thanks! And nope, but great question! :-)
Hello Sarah 👋
I'm curious as to why you removed the window in the bedroom renovation.
Does anybody know where Sarah got that hanging knob rack in the entry? BTW, this guest suite is beautiful!

Awesome. I could live there.
Yay! I was hoping you'd say that. :-)

Thanks for watching! These kitchen cabinets were from Lowe's.
Beautiful transformation. Including a floor plan, before and after, would have been a useful addition, considering this was about "space planning and layout.
Thanks so much for watching! :-)
Everything is beautiful but I am not sure whether the wall covering in bedroom can put me to sleep
It might with the lights out! lol Thanks for watching!! :-)
Awesome!
Thank you!! :-)
Or does pass thur count as a window?
Question: Where did you get the sheets and pillow cases in the bedroom? So cute but not always easy to find.
They're from HomeSense.

Can you have a bedroom without window, for fire code?
No
Wow
:-) Thank you!
Love your designs. Always. But those dining room chairs 😍 so scandi. Link please 😍
Thank you!! Those dining room chairs are vintage. Scored them for a bargain and had them refinished.
❤❤❤
Pick me, pick me!!! I really could use gardening tools: carts, pop up bags, hand tools, etc. 😊
👍🏻😍🔥
Thank you!! :-)

A bathroom off the kitchen. Yuk!
@Bleh Thank you for your support! 🥰
Better than no bathroom at all in this separate standalone suite. 😉
@Bleh I don’t know. Just call me crazy. I don’t want to be in the kitchen and listen to someone vomit or have diarrhea. I guess I am just, in your estimation, unsophisticated that way.
Just right for the cook/housekeeper.
"It wasn't a lot of work/pretty easy" to pay someone else to do it 😅😅😅
Yes I have found many videos on youtube showcasing her contributions to early 2000s home decor.
Thanks so much for watching!! :-)
She must be incredibly scared of color. Every makeover is white white white. Anemic.
