I miss the days when almost every major airline in the world had a 747. I think the sweet spot was the late 90’s. 747-100’s, 200’s, SP’s, 300’s, and 400’s as passenger, cargo, & combi at every major airport. That’s why I love airlines like Lufthansa who still operate these behemoths even though the glory days are long gone. Long live the Queen of the Skies!
I couldn't agree more! I also miss when many airlines flew the 767, especially the -200 series! Now, almost every major airline has the 777-300ER in place of the 747 with the 787 and A350 also taking their places!
